VHS : Organizing from the Inside Out with Julie Morgenstern
If you are naturally disorganized, or if you are fairly organized, this is a simple video, yet its magical. It really is a simple yet exciting and fun video. Outstanding job. She actually shows true common sense throughout the video. Its one of those videos, that if you have time for one organizing book or video. I think this is definately the one.

The information and the pictures were very helpful, but the fact that the "doctor" was in scrubs with a mask was a little off-putting! Even so, it's a very useful video if you have old windows to repair.

VHS : Open House
Fairly interesting late 80s slasher flick about a killer who uses open house showings to find potential real estate buyers and cut them up real good, like. By "fairly interesting", I'm not claiming this film is particularly groundbreaking or that distinguished in the horror genre with the distinction of Adrienne Barbeau being totally naked in a couple of scenes.

VHS : Martha Stewart's Secrets for Entertaining: Formal Dinner Party
I just love all of Martha Stewart's videos on entertaining. Their budget may be completely different than mine, but there are so many ways to take what she suggests and use it. This video in particular is not as enjoyable as the one on holding a summer buffet, but it still is an excellent source for tips on decorating styles and beautiful ways to present food.

VHS : Fool Proof Decorating Basics Vol.1
I was clueless in the decorating area when I got married. My mom was a natural and had an electic style. It didn't come naturaly to me so I was totally freaked out when it came time to buy carpet and furniture and paint and redo the kitchen. Our house self-destructed and I didn't know which way to go and knew that every mistake I made would be one we couldn't afford to fix. I like all styles and there are so many colors and ideas that it's overwhelming. I thank God I happened to catch the Lynette Jennings Decorating TV show when this video aired. It made it all so easy and now I get raves about my decorating and it's all stuff I learned from this VHS. I'm buying copies for my daughters and another one for me because I'm always giving my copy away. Lynette gives great advice, she's intelligent, ... Read More

I bought this video set when I first got my pup from the Monks of New Skete. Watching the tapes will calm you, encourage you, and teach you. The gorgeous New England scenery in the videos is a nice plus.

VHS : Bringing Up Puppy With Uncle Matty (Dog Training) (PBS)
This video is not worth the price or your time. It is only 40 minutes in length and does not go into enough detail or have enough substance to be of much value. As a previous reviewer commented, "Uncle Matty" seems more interested in showing off his skills in berating the owners ("You BAD owner!") than in providing useful info on how to train/correct the dog. The examples he does give ("Here Spot, Here!") do not go into enough depth to be of much value. See the 3-set video by "The Monks of New Skete" for more in-depth discussion, review, and analysis of how to train and raise your dog. Spend your [money] on something else.

I am a beginner just getting started. I purchased a used Craftsman RAS from a relative (who never used it) and am trying to get educated on the RAS as well as woodworking in general.

Curtis appears to be a precise individual. He takes the viewer through the parts of the machine, calibration of the machine, safety and operating technique, lap joints, slip joints, mortise and tenon & dovetail mortise and tenon joints and the jigs needed to make them on the RAS.

You cant expect everything out of a video, but as a beginner I can say that it is well worth the money.

I am searching for and intend to buy more books and instructional VHS like this and would appreciate recommendations of others.
