VHS : Richard Simmons Dance Your Pants Off!
This is one of my favorite exercise videos. It has awesome songs, and it is so much fun. It doesn't even seem like a workout - just fun dancing.

VHS : Sweatin' to the Oldies 2: An Aerobic Concert with Richard Simmons
I do acknowledge that a lot of people enjoy this series of tapes/dvds and have lost weight using them, but I did not enjoy this workout. I have some of his other tapes (not in the Sweatin to the Oldies series) that I like much better!

VHS : Sweatin' to the Oldies 3: An Aerobic Concert with Richard Simmons
Having started my adventures in home work-out videos with Richard Simmons' Sweatin' to the Oldies, I promptly picked up this third "aerobics concert" in the "Oldies" series. This tape is considerably more difficult (and longer, at about 50 minutes) than the first Sweatin' to the Oldies, but it is still well within the grasp of a very overweight beginner like me. Like the others, it will take the viewer a few runs through to begin to get the moves down, as Richard gives pretty minimal cues. This tape begins with an easy warm up tune, followed by two easy-paced numbers to stretch and warm up the upper and lower parts of the body. Then the dancing takes off with four up-tempo dance pieces. The intensity of your work-out very much depends on the energy you put into it, and the many exercisers (of all shapes ... Read More

VHS : Richard Simmons and the Silver Foxes - Fitness for Silver Citizens
If you are over 50 or just in poor physical condition, I'd highly recommend this video. It's divided into two sections: The first section is a low impact routine (and I do mean low!) that just gets everything moving. No complicated dance steps to learn, no jerky motions and no headbanging music. It goes at a very leisurely pace and there is no floorwork. The second section is a toning routine designed to strengthen various muscle groups.

Richard leads a group of senior celebrity parents through the program and each section is about 30 minutes long. The only equipment you need is a kitchen chair for the second section.

Again, if are physically limited but can walk, Richard Simmons Silver Foxes would be my first choice. Nicely done!

VHS : Richard Simmons - Tone & Sweat
This is a good workout that requires the use of toning cords. Looks deceptively easy, but gives a good workout! It's around fourty minutes long, and I like that like most of his videos, he includes a variety of people of different sizes and at different levels of fitness. Makes you feel more at ease and like you're at a "real" workout, not working out with taped "models". Plus, it gives you the opportunity to view the workout at different levels of intensity, so you can modify it to your own situation! Just wish they would release all of these workouts on dvd!

VHS : Sit Tight
I love Richard Simmons and am a fan of all his "Sweatin' To" series exercise videos. At 53 years of age, current health problems do not allow me to exercise to my favorites, so I ordered the "Sit Tight" DVD with high hopes of capturing at least some of the benefit I used to get from the more active workouts. I have not been disappointed! A little introduction to the various moves would have been nice, but after about a week of doing the exercises, one catches on fairly quickly. I give this exercise DVD the highest rating.

This is a fun workout, and you do work up a good sweat. It is not quite as well coreographed as "Dance Your Pants Off" or the "Sweatin' to the Oldies" series, but its still in my top ten.

this video of stomach exercises moves a bit faster than I could do. I did as many as I could & moved on to keep with the video workout.

VHS : Richard Simmons: Mega Mix Blast-Off
This tape is a little fast paced for me, as I need more repetition and better cues to keep up with the exercises. I am holding onto it, because I am hoping that in the future, I will be able to keep up with the pace better. It does have good music and is entertaining, but I like some of his other tapes MUCH better! In fact, this is the only tape in that series of three that I kept. The others in my opinion were much too fast paced.
