VHS : The Firm: Total Body - Body Sculpting Basics
This is the first firm video I bought and used, it is my favorite.
It is a bout 62 minutes so you need to prepare for that, however when I am short on time you can do the first 30 minutes or skip parts, it is made in sections so its easy to do.
When I first did this workout the only other previous training I had was slim-n-six. Going from the hardest video in the slim-n-six to the firm was easy and some of the moves were the same. With the firm though I was really tired by the end of the running in place bit (10-15 min. into it) and couldn't finish most of the moves. It worked me out harder than I expected, especially since I could completely finish the hardest one in slim-n-six! It wasn't so hard though that I felt I would never be able to do it, with in 2-3 weeks I could ... Read More

VHS : Firm Parts: Tough Aerobic Mix
I am a huge Firm fan, and I own a couple dozen Firm videos. This one is one of my favorite because it gets you sweating and working hard, it's a lot of fun, and you're done in about 45 minutes. I love that it has segments from the original Firm videos, which are tougher than the newer ones. It was put together nicely and it's really easy to follow. Get this video! You won't be disappointed.

VHS : The Firm - Firm Basics: Fat Burning Workout
I started doing the "Firm Basics" again along Leslie Sansone after not exercising regularly for a while. This series teaches proper form, and is a good intro to the "The Firm". While it is probably too easy for high-intermediate and advanced exercisers, it is definitely great for beginners. I plan to advance further with other "Firm" workouts. I feel they offer the best all-around fitness program and you can grow with it. I wish this series was offered on DVD.

I love this and "The Firm: Sculpted Buns, Hips, and Thighs", they have effective exercises to target the thighs and hips, and the workout isn't too long. I also like how these are "floor leg" workouts, meaning they don't involve any standing/jumping/squatting/lunging for the days when my knees or feet are too tired from work.

By the way, I would recommend these two videos above the newer "Body Sculpting - Fast & Firm Series" Hips, Thighs, and Abs" video.

VHS : The Firm Parts: Not-So Tough Aerobics
This is a tape that really gets the heart pumping. It is very easy to follow, but it is a challenge. It is fun challenging aeribics segments about 40 minutes in all.It is compiled from the 6 original frim volumes so you get all the original instructers Janet Gretzky,Sandahl Bergman,Susan Harris, etc.
It asks for dumbells about 3-7 pounds and a aeobic step about 6-10 inches. This a really good workout for when your short on time but want to get a great sweat.I think it is really good for beginners, they just need to use light weights and short steps. It is also good for advance they can heavy up on the weights and use the higher aerobic boxes.
It is a great workout from the firm.It is a great cardio combo that is good for beginners to advance. This is another one of my favorites from the Firm.

VHS : The Firm - Total Body: Low Impact Aerobics
My mother gave me this video for my 24th bday. I told her I wanted an aerobics video, and this what she picked out, not knowing what is best on the market. This is one of the best gifts I ever received. I am now 41. I still have it and still do it almost every other day. I mix it with the Standing Legs DVD (I highly recommend the box set: Standing Legs/Upper body and Tough Tape 2/5 Day Abs) or Sandahl Bergman's Vol III Video that I picked up years after receiving Vol II. At 41, I am 5' 9" and 125 pounds, thinner than I ever was in high school. I have muscles and guys have actually approached me and squeezed my biceps while standing at a bar with a drink. For a while, I had a membership at 24 Hour Fitness and went to the Power Sculpt or Rep Reebok Group X classes, both of which involved lifting weights, 5 ... Read More

VHS : Firm: Time Crunch Workout
This is the best workout! Outside of the cheesy outfits its worth every penny and drop of sweat; and you WILL sweat. I counld't make it through the first time and I do the other tapes in the series on a regular basis. This video has superior ab work and really focuses on hips, butt, and thighs without all the floor work. The 10 inch step-up box is not too hard on the knees and very effective for shaping the lower body. Keep your water bottles and towels handy. Susan and Kai will work you with a smile.

VHS : Firm Cardio: Maximum Cardio
Love this one! All these years I didn't realize that Maximum Cardio, Cardio Burn and Power Cardio were the workouts that Core Cardio I, Core Cardio II and Bust and Butt were taken from because The Firm was sneaky and issued the later three first. They were really just Parts tapes! And funny enough, I liked Carissa's parts the best and considered just fast forwarding to her parts on the tapes when I found out about Maximum Cardio.

This workout consists of some great, original routines that are really fun to do. You just can't get bored and the workout goes by fast. When I previewed it it seemed like it was on super high-speed but it didn't feel that way when I was doing it, though it does move fast. It's not as high-impact as Cardio Burn and is a great mix of hi-lo, step and four-limbed cardio sometimes including light ... Read More

VHS : Firm: Complete Aerobic Weight Training
I've owned and used this video for nearly 10 years. I'm a Jazzercise junkie and use videos when for whatever reason I don't go to Jazzercise. After trying many videos and CDs, The Firm and Gilead, in my opinion, consistently give the best, and safest, workouts. I often turn to this video for a good, all-over workout that isn't too vigorously jumping or dancing. The cuing is excellent and you can ramp up or tone down the weight levels depending on how you feel. I've never used this video with a barbell but use free weights instead, and they work just fine. After all these years I still find this video challenging and don't get tired of it.
