Purchasing this video is a repeat offense on my part. My original 1987 tape wore out, and even though I probably have the routine memorized, I am purchasing this product again for the entertainment value that comes from watching Greg in action. I agree with previous reviewers -you absolutely feel a difference when you do this routine.

Please, Please put these four Claudia Schiffer Perfectly exercise tapes on DVD. VCRs are outdated and if one goes out I am 100% certain that no one will buy another one. I agree with everyone. PLEASE put these on DVD. Surely you can do that!

Plus, BUNS OF STEEL 2000 features Tamilee Webb, Donna Richardson and Tracy York - one-third a penny per beautiful exercise instructor.

You can alternate between burning calories with the aerobic BUNS OF STEEL 2000 segment and building muscle with the toning part. Or, if you dare, do both. The toning exercises are tougher than they look.

ok, i used these tapes for about a week-- already, they're warping (and apparently i'm not the first person to experience this). the workouts are good for what they are. you will feel the burn, but don't expect quick & dramatic results from 8 minutes. the abs workout is most challenging for me, mostly because it puts a lot of strain on the neck (at least it does for me-- maybe i'm doing something horribly wrong), so my neck muscles were sore after the first couple of times. now i just cheat-- i put my hands in the back of my head for some of the moves instead of leaving them at my side. that helps. re: the buns workout, it's good, but (and again, this might just be me-- i have sensitive skin...), my living room is carpeted, and since most of the moves are floor moves, my forearms started to get really ... i used this video with a friend of mine 4 times a week for about a month. its cheesy and outdated, but it was a good workout and just challenging enough. my friend and i have different body types, and she loves it... but i, on the other hand, gain muscle in my lower body very, very easily, and within about a week of working out with buns of steel my butt had stayed about the same but my thighs had gotten huge! so... if you do gain muscle easily and don't want to add any to your quads, this might not be for you. but, then again, i think i'm probably the exception in this case.

I like Tamilee and Tracy but Donna gets very patronizing and has some overly complicated combinations. The tape is only about 20 minutes aerobics, 20 minutes of squats, and 10 minutes of cool down/warm up, which isn't bad but I would like more aerobics. This is an okay intermediate tape, but the squats do their job pretty well.

I love tamilee but this video is soo boring. My buns dont feel at all sore. It was a nice cardio workout but thats about it. I was hoping for more bun work since it is called BUNS of steel.

I couldnt wait for the tape to be over. Ill never do it again, cause altho the cardio was good, i have dozens of step cardio tapes that are much more interesting :(

I suffered a terrible fall down the stairs of my college dring Setptember.My legs were badly injured,puffy,and black and blue.I couldn`t workout for about 10 days straight.I thought that I was doomed,I couldn`t go any longer without doing any workout tapes.I eventually grabbed this tape to start up again after my injury,I loved it.I got totally back in gear using this tape.I was hard at first,but I eventally started going tough the whole thing with no worry.Now I am back on schedule with my workout plan and my videos after the horrible injury.Tamilee goes through a series of great easy to follow,but effective moves on the floor.These moves target the legs,hamstrings,and glutes.It was hard at first after the accident to do all the moves,but after a few times I am back on track.This is a great workout for beginners,intermediate,and ... It's hard to keep up with when you first start out, but all 3 workouts are great & you can go at your own pace. I'd definitely recommend it. I do one 12 minute workout each day after doing some aerobic exercises, & I started seeing a difference after just a few weeks.

The "Firm Basics" series is a great start for beginners or those who have not exercised in a while. The instructors remind you to use correct form and to breathe, which I find helpful. I had not exercised consistently for 6 years, and just started again with this series and Leslie Sansone. I can already feel the difference in my energy level and look forward to using these tapes. Intermediates will find this series too easy, but these tapes definitely help beginners get started. I highly recommend them as a starting point.
