Although I'd worn make-up for years prior, I never really knew how to do it right until I saw this video when it was new. I recently purchased a used copy of it, primarily for nostalgia purposes but also thinking I could use a refresher; but I was surprised to find how well the instruction had stuck with me. While some trends change (I wouldn't use bright blue and pink eye shadow today) I am still applying my make-up in exactly this fashion and it still works. This is easy, anybody can do it with very little practice, and it will look terrific on you. Obviously this is long out of print so my advice to anyone looking for a good make-up video would be to grab this up fast if you can find it.

This tape went way too fast to understand or practice the moves. Being on VHS vice DVD made it too hard to back up and review the steps. Cuban style was covered on the cha-cha which was good and hand movement instruction on the waltz and rhumba were useful.

Beauty and the Beast was an excellent movie. Beauty and the Beast is an excellent movie to show to kids because it has some really good lessons in it. Not only did the movie have the people talk about looking with their hearts and not their eyes, but also it had them show it throughout the movie.

I appreciate the idea and originality of the film, but it just didn't work for me. One of the big problems is that Lorenzo Lamas is not all that good of a martial arts actor (not that you have to be great, but this guy is as wooden as they come). I think Alexander deserves a little more credit than this guy gives. This is basically about the sword of Alexander the Great - stolen from a museum by men who want to be invincible with it in gambling sword fights. Legend says whoever has the sword is undefeatable, but above all else, the sword is seeking the reincarnated Alexander, and he is called to the sword - and this is where the cop "Andrew" comes into play (Lamas). i never take time to rate things, however, i am taking the time to say this....this video is simply an info-mercial that you buy. as much as i admire laura mercier's work, i just can not believe that this video would be so deceptive. basically, it is an extremely vague promotion of her products. if you want to learn what you would from this video..simply pick up "allure" magazine. there is nothing to be gained from buying this video. totally unsatisfied. shame on you, laura mercier.
