Disney is so obsessed with Hannah Montana and High School Musical, they're forgetting about us "Boomers" who grew up on "The Wonderful World of Disney". A Halloween classic like "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" should not be cast aside. I want to show it to my grandchildren and it's nowhere to be found! This classic version narrated by Bing Crosby never goes out of style. PLEASE BRING IT BACK!

I grew up in the 70's and 80's watching School House Rock. My favorites have always been "Interjection," "Lolly Lolly Get Your Adverbs Here," "Unpack Your Adjectives." Today, I teach College Prep Writing at a community college, and I introduce my students to the parts of speech with this video. And when I do, I always hear the comments from the back of the room, "Oh my God, she's even singing along." These songs work wonders even for adults. Later on, when we get more in depth, all I have to say is "Lolly Lolly" and students start singing themselves.

The item's content was of course, excellent. The movie did come unhinged during shipping, which caused a loose, shaking noise inside before I opened it. I had to prevent the movie from hitting the floor when I opened it. Haven't actually watched the movie to inspect visual damage....more to come. Robert

My son has difficulty with flashcard memorization. This video was used by his sisters in the classroom and they loved it so much I purchased it for my son. I am pleased to say he is finally learning multiplication and enjoys watching the video. I highly recommend this product.

This is the original workout that will give you results, all others are followers. I remember when this was sold on vinyl or album, text book and VHS. I remember going to exercise class when our instructor would plug in the record player and play the album format. This is the best workout to date. I got results back when it was introduced in 1982 and now that I finally found a copy (unfortunately it is not sold on DVD) and started using it again I have achieved the same results. I would recommend this tape to anyone who does not like working out on machines all day or evening at the gym. If you do the advance workout at least 3 to 4 times a week along with low impact aerobic exercise you can achieve the results of a nice lean sculpted body along with good eating habits.

For a fifty year old animated movie, Sleeping Beauty holds up exceptionally well for the modern viewer. While a bit light on story (evil queen threatens new born princess with curse of death, fairies cause the curse to be limited to slumber, fairies raise princess as a peasant to protect her from curse, curse strikes, etc), Sleeping Beauty tells that story quite well without relying too heavily on over-the-top musical numbers. Visually, Sleeping Beauty is one of the stronger works of from Disney with a striking Maleficent, contrasts between light and darkness, and one incredibly creepy castle for the evil queen. Outside of the fairies, the good side is a bit boring, but the three fairies carry the story and breath life into Sleeping Beauty. Of course, the movie relies on a bit of stupidity on the part ... I have to admit, I'm an avid listener of classical music. So it's a small wonder why Disney's Fantasia is one of my favorite films. Every music sequence is pure gold (except maybe the Pastoral sequence). Toccata and Fugue in D Minor by Johann Sebastian Bach = My second favorite sequence, it is a mixture of abstract colors & images, live action orchestral playing, and Stokowski's acclaimed orchestration of Bach's organ music. Nutcracker Suite by Peter Illich Tchaikovsky = Although I'm not a fan of Tchaikovsky's ballet music, this one is very good and entertaining. The dancing of the fairies and flowers and mushrooms make for a heck of a good time for the whole family.
