I feel I missed something in addition to fifty dollars. I am a new swimmer with fears of the deep end. While the instructor's guidance on staying in your body is good and well taken, the rest of the video does nothing for someone who needs to overcome a fear of deep water. Had I been aware of the lack of content in this product I never would have spent the money. When it was over I could not believe it! I literally just stared at my computer screen in disbelief. What a pity. Wish I had my $$$ back. Oh well.

I gather that Stewie the duck is based on a real life Stewie, a boy who tragically drowned. This video was created to honor his memory, and to serve as a gentle lesson for toddlers and their parents. It is brief, but very entertaining for moppets, and might even save a life. The puppets are cute, and I'm glad that I gave a copy to my grandchild.

After college I took a six year hiatus and suffered a severe shoulder injury. In 1999 I got back into the water to train again and never saw an ice pack or bottle of Advil. It took me time to get used to the drills and the balance. I believe the drills are the reason I trained pain free, which allowed me to swim faster than I ever had before.

These diving and swimming tapes are excellent They are informative and descriptive with good narration. I would add that they are in very good condition and I would recommend my seller highly for future purchases. I found my seller to be very trustworthy and reliable and I recieved the goods in quality packaging.

This video is only good for fastforwarding through. There is about 3 minutes of good, solid information and the rest is fluff. Please do not waste your money or time on this video.

Teaching my baby this way wasn't suitable. Babies aren't happy. When I first bought a book about the subject (Water Babies: Teach Your Baby the Joys of Water - From Newborn Floating to Toddler Swimming) I thought I need a video as well to see things happen. I watched the VHS twice and don't think I will use it again. The book was more fun to follow and it taught me alot of patience as a mother. My baby was happy following the instructions in the pool. To this VHS, teaching comes first, while to the author of the book I mentioned the baby comes first, and that's what I liked about it. I still might recommend this video if your baby is over 2 years old and doesn't like the pool. My baby is under 1 year and maybe it's why I preferred a book with a slower method.
