I watched T&D get sixes across the board for Bolero, back in 1983 in England. It made me cry. Although there are too many "talking heads" and not enough skating on the video, what there is, is wonderful. I purchased a tape which the seller said had only been viewed twice,(why?), and the quality was excellent for a recording more than twenty years old. Now I have to get "Face the Music". I am so glad these tapes are still available.

A wonderful gift for any skating fan, or someone who wants a quick rundown of this glorious sport.

This video clearly explains the jumps of skating while remaining entertaining. The programs at the end of the video highlight the jumps that were taught from the beginning and gives you a chance to practice identifying the jumps in a competition setting. Great teaching tool!

I just bought this video, and I was greatly disapointed! I saw the original footage on TV and they edited this thing so much it is rediculous! My greatest disapointment came in the Exhibition Tape. True it shows all of the performences wow, but not as they were shown on the original broadcast! I remember that when Michelle Kwan took the ice, before she the music started, before she stood still, people gave her a standing ovation!! I also remember how Scott Hamilton and Roslynn Somners could barely contain their tears when they saw Michelle skate and cry at the same time! I bought this tape wanting to relive that moment, and it was not there! Not to mention that you don't get the short programs which were outstanding specially Yagudin's! Perfect 6.0 if you ask me! But I guess this will do!

This video has plenty of gymnastics and ice skating contrary to other reviews. The performances display some of the best artistry and skill in their respective sport. Brian Boitano is in my opinion the best ever and seeing Peggy Fleming perform is certainly a treat. This video is A+!
