I watched this movie many times as a kid (for some reason, it was on early Saturday mornings a bunch of times), and I loved it. I just remembered it now for some reason, and had to look it up! It's a classic, and I highly recommend it.

I've seen this movie at least a half dozen times and love it every time. I never read the book, so I can't make a comparison but in the movie, I love the evolvution of the character of Willie throughout the story. Besides being a heartwarming animal flick, it is a wonderful story about community.

While the bear special effect definitely needed help it's a pretty fantastic movie for the whole family. Definitely one of those types of movies that you remember from your childhood and want desperately. It was definitely worth purchasing and my kids love it.

Modern technology has taken live-action filmmaking to limitless heights, but there are still some stories that are more suited for feature-animation. Dodie Smith's "The Hundred and One Dalmatians" is one of them. Walt Disney knew this and his "One Hundred and One Dalmatians" is one of the most loved animated films of all time. Unfortunately, director John Hughes did not and his live-action remake, "101 Dalmatians, comes up short in the end. As with all the Wishbone series Wishbone: Dog Days of the West is a great family video. My children always ask to check it out at the library. We've seen this movie several times and it doesn't get old. The story line is interesting and it is not difficult for elementary age children to follow along even though it goes between modern times and the western. And, of course, Wishbone is adorable. If your children like animals they will love this show.

When i watched this, I was pleasantly surprised to find it was still as funny as I remembered it to be. When I was younger, I was a fan of the Francis films, and watched whenever they came on TV back in the Fifties.When I found this one,it was like discovering an old friend and finding that though times had changed,it didn't lessen my appreciation for the films-or my enjoyment when I saw them again.

I have bought/studies different methods of Natural horsemanship, from Clinton Anderson, Parelli, John Lyons.... I really liked his simplicity and getting to the most important aspect of enjoying our horses and loving them. I have 3 colts and have done all the exersises to a point where they are programed but lost the real communication that you have when your a kid and are not embarressed to show your feelings and connect as if you were a horse communicating. I grew up around horses as a kid and as an adult (38 yo) we seem to loose that intuition. My hat off to Monty at humbling himself, as other cowboys would never love on their horse like that.
