"The Fourth Man"

An Early Masterpiece

Amos Lassen and Cinema Pride

Its amazing script and ending that will leave you intrigued make this a movie that should not be missed. Here is the story of a man and how he allows himself to become trapped. I give it five stars because it scared the hell out of me when I was a kid haha. My parents rented every horror movie under the sun and allowed me to watch these strange films hahaha. I own this on DVD-R along with it's cover art as well as artwork on disk! The movie does have it's shocking scenes!!! There is an american remake of this horror gem called "The Shaft"...it's not as good :/ sad to say. If your a fan of odd horror than get this movie!!!...it will go great along with the other cheezy 80's horror movies you might own haha.

I first saw this film in 1997 when I was an exchange student in Belgie. It touched me then as a snapshot of a hardworking ever resilient culture of the Flemish. I tried finding here in the US when I came back but it was still priced at over a hundred dollars. Several years later I'm ecstatic to find the film not only available, but affordable. The Flemmish are an amazing people and this is a film of overcoming struggle.

This film is visually stunning with a soundtrack that sounds truly haunted. Occasionally the film lets itself down with it's editing. I sometimes feel disorientated thinking " wait slow down will you." Having said that - this film is well acted, and really puts you in the Netherlands of the 19th Century. It may not be as hard hitting and exciting as Turkish Delight but this film is equally competent and well worth watching.

I loved Enchanted April. This is one of my other favorite. Fun to watch with friends and family. The character development is excellent. The story is narrated and takes you into people life. Excellent movie to be watched over and over again.

This is the "English version" of the Dutch movie "Schatjes!". Translation: it is dubbed in (American) English, so don't look at the actors' faces as they speak if you know who is speaking.
The story reminds me of the American movie "Home Alone", except in this movie four children are acting against their parents, which escalates enormously. The children win it in a very unlikely and unsatisfactory way.
I would rather watch this one, like any foreign movie, in the original language with subtitles.

Like some other reviewers already said, this one looks easier than it actually is! I still have only the VHS version and it's much loved to where I will soon have to get it on DVD!
I consider myself a fairly fit person; running and working out with weights, yet this tape always gets me sweating and working hard too!
I love all Yoga Zone workouts and I think you can't go wrong with any of them! :)
