I agree with one reviewer here who says that the characters of Boca himself, the brutal gangster, and his feral Brazilian mistress - they are the jewels in this film. One of the most memorably erotic movies I have ever seen. I wish, like another reviewer, that it would come out as a DVD. I'd snap it up in a second.

Two Moon Junction was the first Zalman King movie I ever watched and have to say that it was my favorite. Yes, the story gets a little campy here & there, but you just have to love it anyways! I can't get enough of Richard Tyson in this movie...his looks, his quirky & sometimes very funny remarks, his sincere moments. (I personally think he is very underrated as an actor!) Sherilyn Fenn plays the spoiled rich girl who could want for nothing more in life...until she meets carnival worker Perry. She has everything, he has nothing, but in the end...well if I told you how it ended, you might not be enticed to watch it. Love it, love it, love it!

This is a good flick for David Duchovny fans. It's an interesting movie but the Red Shoe series is def. better. The movie was a little cheesy and over the top at times. As for the series, I reccomend Girl On A Bike and Four On The Floor.

Omry Reznik is so hot in the episode "Swimming Naked." It is worth the whole DVD just to watch it. And the acting makes it hotter. The underwater photogrpahy is a delight to watch him swim. It makes me want to swim with my husband everyday.

If it has 87 minutes of Costas Mandylor in it...who even cares if the movie sux! I certainly WON'T lose any sleep, as a matter of fact it might help me sleep! Ahem...sorry, but I AM an intransigent Mandylor fan! I haven't even seen it yet, can't wait to. I'm buying it now....Sweet dreams are made of these...WHEW! The man is HOT!

Although it does not follow the book, the essence is there. The cinematography is rich and lush, with a sensual and erotic feel. The music is evocative of the period, and in its self moves the movie forward, the sound track would be worth owning. The cast melds, meshes and melts together. This really is a picture about a woman's inner thoughts and fantasies, it is not a pornographic film at all. But if you watch it with you honey, a little candle light, some wine, and an open mind, a good night should be had.

This is Mickey Rourke's typical sleaze bag role. The film isn't even accomplished enough to be considered soft porn. Zalman King should have abandoned his efforts in mainstream filmmaking and gone straight into the adult industry. He probably would have had more fun and would have saved us from such complete crap.

Okay, I can appreciate a cheesy, wafer-thin plot to make room for the steamy scenes, but this movie has neither. It thought it was going to be soft porn, but it didn't work out. But by the time you realize this, you have already lost interest in the plot, for the simple reason that there really isn't one. This is one of the few films actress Sandra Taylor ever starred in, so it's worth picking up if you're a fan. But if you're just looking to see if maybe Zalman King has finally done a nice steamy movie that doesn't involve David Duchovny and a small dog, you're wasting your time - he hasn't.
