Kids just love Elmo, no matter how much adults may not feel the same way, though I do admit I am somewhat entertained by him. But my son (2-1`/2) absolutely loves him, so that is what really matters. I try to limit television/video time and a one or two 1/2 hour breaks during the day and this is a good DVD for those times - you usually cannot go wrong with CTW.

Best Sesame Street movie ever. It started my love for all things Egyptian, and for museums! I now work in one, and on my days off, I travel around going to other museums! This movie sparked my obsession. It is educational, and something no child will forget!

my two year old daughter does enjoy this video, and requests to watch it often, however, i would have liked it to be more of a fictional video about sharing rather than commentary and direction from katie couric.

All in all, I love it! All the songs advertised on this tape are the original, complete recordings that I have grown to love -- not remakes. It also has a few classical Kermit the Frog Sesame Street segments (for example, the little girl he's with sings "ABCDEF Cookie Monster!") -- though there are just bits and pieces of the Sesame Street News skits. My favorite song on this tape is "Bein' Green". I bought mine at amazon.com a couple of years ago, but not until today did I open it and play it -- I was just too nervous. If you can get this tape -- go for it! A MUST for any serious Sesame Street fan!

I bought this for my daughter when she was 4 months old and I bought it in the hopes that she might enjoy it more then the horrid Baby Einstein Videos. I made a GREAT decision. To this day (she is now 18 months) this is one of her favorite Sesame Street videos (she has almost all of them). She use to make us play it over and over again until we couldn't stand it and we all had "Doin the Pigeon" stuck in our heads and would sing it together. I would recommend any of the Sesame Street videos for your kids. She already knows how to say her ABC's and can count (though not always in order for either) but she is still a step ahead of alot of other kids her age and I have to give credit to these videos.

Both my 22 month old son and his mom love this! Very cute with the characters and clips from the Sesame Street I grew up with and enjoyed. The son is learning the letters and loves ""Cookie".

This is a great video for kids ages 1 year and up. My 15 month old loves the music and characters and my 2 1/2 year old is still entertained. There is lots of music. We own many of the Sesame Street/Elmo's World DVD's and this one is one of their favorites.

My toddler son really loves Elmo and he loves this video. I have to say that I enjoy it also. It teaches about the outdoors including animals, seasons and the weather. The count comes along and even teaches some counting. As a parent, I really appreciate videos that are entertaining and educational for my children to watch. And even more, I appreciate the ones that adults can enjoy also because we end up watching them over and over again with our children. I recommend The Great Outdoors and look forward to getting other Elmo's World videos.

My two-year-old granddaughter loves Elmo, I love anything Halloween, we both love the Count, so this DVD was made for us! If you're looking for something fun and off the beaten Elmo path, then this is it! The story line is Elmo is going to visit the Count at his castle to share some "scary" jokes with him, and fun monster songs and "old school" songs by the Count are mixed in between. My granddaughter watched this everyday for a week (and then five times in a row when she was sick) when we first discovered it, and she still enjoys revisiting it. I must confess that I loved the songs so much that I bought one of the now discontinued CDs of the same title, and my granddaughter loves listening to the music when we drive around in the car (she always asks for "more" after each song ends ;).
