VHS : Vampire Hunter D (Dub)
I've loved anime since the 80's but D sealed the deal for me. I'd put this against any anime old or new. Great story, beautiful anime - romantic, twisted, and as gorily graphic as a vampire story needs to be.

VHS : The Ultimate Teacher
I'm a serious guy, but they knew where to prod and prized a few laughs out of me. Taking the mick out of anime, I think only a fan would get the whole joke of the bizzare plot, so not recomended for anyone new to anime. Negatives: the bizzare (but funny) plot which still illudes me lol, the humour is sexually orientated so is a 15 for good reason, comedy is slap stick in some places (but I laughed (so sue me)). Positives: Funny, great for groups, can never get board. Overall I am very glad I bought it and it holds a valuble place in my collection (circa 1988) :) though be warned it is crude, for a special taste I think.
