Hi - I am simply agreeing and sharing some thoughts with the others from the prior reviews.
Though I haven't seen this movie, Graham Greene is one of the best actors around. I've seen him in least 5 movies--and you're right he has great humor, one of his best parts of his acting abilities which puts a 'feather in his cap' so to speak.
Yes, and I too would like to see this movie go to DVD format. Why do some movies take so long to get there? Let's hope soon, this one will get with the times.

This movie made the sport of track and field interesting, and did a great job of showing what drives runners to run. It was also a moving tale of a young man at the height of his potential, struck down by cancer. It is a well done film and a tear-jerker.

VHS : Quantum Leap - The Pilot Episode
Seriously Quantum Leap was the best show ever produced. I own all of the seasons on dvd. I never really thought of myself as a groupie but for this show I would be. Scott Bakula is just an amazing actor. I only wish they would do a final movie allowing him to actually leap home. Dean Stockwell does such a great job as his best friend that everyone should have someone like him. It may only be a show but sometimes the history references were funny as all get out and would make you think that they could have been true. Like the one with Buddy he was trying to sing a song to the pig and was singing "piggy suey" and of course Sam says to Buddy "Why don't you try Peggy Sue?" You truly need to watch this show from beginning to end.

For some reason the comedy from the 80's stands out as it own genre, an this film cerainly fits there. Right along with shows like Big, and Soggy Bottom Usa. If you get you'll pop some stiches.
