VHS : Ninja III: The Domination
Ninja III: The Domination gets five stars from me for the martial arts sequences. Lucinda Dickey does many of her own stunts here, too---some quite impressively. This picture really deserves a DVD release soon.

2.Revenge of the Ninja starring: Shô Kosugi, Keith Vitali, Virgil Frye, Arthur Roberts, Mario Gallo

VHS : Revenge of the Ninja
I purchased the newer VHS copies of the 3 movies in this series back in 2000, so when this dvd was released I saw that it was still in standard format and passed. Today I ended up watching the dvd and was shocked to discover that the VHS copy contained an edited version of the film with MUCH less gore. When watching my tapes I had thought that I remembered there being a bit more to some of the kills but had attributed that to simply being false memories from my childhood. Now I see that I was correct in my suspicions.

If you're a fan of this series of films that passed on this DVD for the same reason as I did, this is a definite must purchase disc! Now if only they'd release NINJA III on dvd.

(note: this is only in reference to the newer vhs version of this film ... Read More

VHS : American Ninja
Amercian Ninja is a gulity pleasure if anything. The film has some decent fight scenes and some good B movie acting. Mike Dudkoff and Steve James are some smooth pimps in the movie bringing it to the man as only they can. If you like 80's karate movies then check this out.

Don't go into this film looking for some well developed charactors deep plot or anything like that. Go into it on a hunt for cliches! There are so many used in this film I would find it very difficult to beleive it wasn't on purpose. The slow motion picking up of a kid while riding a motorcycle to get him out of danger. The classic lines "I don't need a loose cannon" "Well you need something" and the obvious cuts to stunt double who are quite obviously stunt doubles. It's just so much FUN! Also look out for the texan who stumbles into cockney.

This is michael dudikoff's finest movie slightly infront of american ninja 1 just because of the final scene. i remember staying up to see this movie on cable in like 1993 when i was seven and loving every second of it. the end fight scene is one of the coolest battle scenes ever. a manhunt with awesome results. make sure you watch it at night. and remind yourself that it was made ages ago.

VHS : Operation Delta Force
The most amazing part of this movie is the fact that the Commies that they are up against couldn't find the trigger to their high powered rifles, and M-16 style guns if their fingers were super glued to them. The just stood and got shot. When, finally they do find the triggers they couldn't hit the broad side of a barn if they were standing inside it. They couldn't burn down a stack of hay with gasoline and a match if they were standing on the stack.

Typical shoot em up and ask questions later American propoganda, where the enemy is inept as posisble and the hero's don't get shot. IT seems, for some reason, that they never run out of ammo. They just keep firing away. No new clips, no reloading. They also hit every enemy soldier that they face. NO matter how far away. They just look around ... Read More

But this aside, the movie was a near non-stop gem fest. I nearly threw up due to convulsive laughter. The dialog is on par with a 1st grader's script idea, and the plot is way out there to say the least, but standard fare for the mighty Eric Sloberts.

This is THE movie to watch if you want to witness the splendor of the awesome "regenerating couch." That's correct, several scenes within this stinkfest contain couches that are riddled with bullets only to be completely fine in the next scene. Amazing. Normally you wouldn't want to hide behind a couch during a gunfight, but these are regenerating couches after all.

Besides the hundreds of other goof ups, blazing blow dart adventures, unfadable pipe beatings, gloves that appear and reappear within 2 scenes, Lazer Missions ... Read More
