VHS : Spy Kids 3 - Game Over
Okay, I think at this point you get the idea of how bad this movie is, but i'll be even more specific.
Think of the worst possible thing that ever happened in your life, then try to compare that to the second worst thing in your life.
Now after you've done that, add 2 kids, that thnk they can act, a few adults that can but don't, then top that off with (spoiler, Which is an oxymoron), the main evil bad guy (Sly Stallone) ends up turning good.
wow.
If it was possible to go negative stars, that might improve it.
Save your money or just flush it in the toliet, that would be better spent

VHS : Spy Kids (P&S)
I must admit i didnt think i would like this HOW WRONG WAS I ,this is such a good movie i would suggest that anyone who hasnt seen it do so NOW.
The story concerns the two children of former secret agents who are now living a normal life when their parents are kidnapped the kids are told by the 'Uncle'that they have to save them
cue 90 minutes of great comedy effects driven filmmaking from Robert Rodriguez a veritable 1 man band-he wrote and directed the movie edited and produced and even wrote some of the music ,the two juvenile leads are great and so is Alan Cumming as the bad guy who turns goos there are also great turns from Robert Patrick and Teri Hatcher and the action whizzes by and it really is one of those movies you wish were 20 minutes longer.

Tarintino returns with his steady cast of players for another supremely entertaining show. Four Rooms moves the talent around with Tim Ross running with the lead.

The cast is, as always in Quentin's movies, fabulous.

The script, as always in Quentin's movies, fabulous.

A don't miss for Tarintino fans. A should see for just about everyone else 8 to 80.

VHS : The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl

2005's children flick Sharkboy and Lavagirl is the creative and lovable tale of a young boy Max(Cayden Boyd) who's having a little trouble fitting in at school thanks to his dream journal and possibly imaginary friends Sharkboy(Taylor Lautner) and Lavagirl(Taylor Dooley).

When Sharkboy and Lavagirl come to ask for Max's help to save the planet he created and their home, planet drool will Max be able to help? Especially since his dream journal has been stolen by the class bully Linus(Jacob Davich).

The dvd does not come with the 3d glasses, atleast mine didn't, but you can watch it in 2d as well which is just as enjoyable. (And doesn't leave you with a headache!)

All the child actors are enjoyable and the plot is fun, filled with plays on words and different ... Read More

VHS : El Mariachi
Well let me start by saying that I liked El Mariachi, It had a good likeable cast (Carlos Gallardo was good as El Mariachi), good script, and it knows how to keep the viewer interested. Like Roger Ebert once said, "A good movie doesn't rely on how much money is spent on it" and I totally agree with that. So many would say that El Mariachi is the total package right? Wrong! As a John Woo and Quentin Tarantino lover I expected this to be somewhat more action packed and was left somewhat empty handed. It suprised me how so many people said the action was beautifully done, and I thought I was going to agree with them since I saw Desperado before this. Yet the action is a let down, heck the budget was so low in this movie we don't even see any type of bullets flying or even explosives going off in the actors chests. ... Read More

The Good Things
*Lots of good action scenes.
*Very excellent, solid filming style and quality. A vast improvement over its predecessor "El Mariachi."
*Not a bad story.
*It's well written.
*Not bad characters. Maybe not as good or memorable as "El Mariachi," but they are fun.
*Good music.

The Bad Things
*Ummm...

The Questionable Things
*A fair amount of absurdity. Some may like it, others won't.

This sequel to is a tremendous improvement over "El Mariachi" in terms of style, action, cameramanship, and overall quality. Only the story and characters seem superior in the predecessor, but are still fun in "Desperado." Anybody who enjoys action films should enjoy this.

The DVD has very good video and sound quality. ... Read More
