this is a wonderful film and i like it alot, the only thing to complain about is there is alot of singing!! but other then that, it has such beautiful color when Dorathy first steps out of her house, into OZ.

It arrived in a reasonable amount of time. The condition was ok, not great but ok. It did appear as if it came from a video rental company which was a bit troubling. All in all it was an ok experience although I think for the condition a bit overpriced.

Quo Vadis is one of those large scale biblical epics that has withstood the test of time. and as they did with special edition dvds of Ryan's Daughter, Dr. Zhivago, Mutiny on the Bounty, Grand Prix, Ben-Hur and How The West Was Won Warner Brothers Home Video has done a splendid job of restoring and remastering the film. but why the break??? a 2hr.52min.film can easily fit on one side of one disc.

Remembered this from my youth. Was a treat to see again. Granddaughters (4&6) enjoyed the dancing and beautiful costumes along with me.

When asked the movie from childhood I remember best, this is the one. The Birds, The Blob, even Baby Jane and Sweet Charlotte did not have the impact of Patty McCormack's stellar performance in this movie. Maybe after seeing it was when I became terrified of going in our farmhouse basement...and lightning. Perhaps it even influenced my interest in mental illness and led me to work 20 yrs. in a state mental hospital! I watched it as an adult and was still captivated by the quality of the performances as well as the B&W photography. A must see.

The movie arrived in good condition and quickly. The only problem was, I had ordered the older version of the movie (1949), not the 1994 version.
