VHS : Lady Beware
Why does it seem that studios never release the movies that made the Eighties so over the top! Nudity, Risky Plot lines (weak but risque)and of course Diane Lane hot out of "Streets Of Fire." This movie was one of those many films on cable constantly especially CINEMAX. The good old (Wink) innocence days. I would love to have this one for the collection if it kindly released from the vaults!

VHS : Bunny's Tale
This amazon.com product detail page is for the High Quality SP mode release of the video. It has not been released on DVD. Another listing of this same movie "A Bunny's Tale" is actually a low-quality cheap-o EP mode release which I made the mistake of buying. This higher quality release is the PRISM video and is SP mode.

The film is from a TV Movie rarely shown today. Kirstie Alley plays the real-life character Gloria Steinem who went undercover to expose the life of a Playboy Bunny cocktail waitress. She recounted her tale in a women's magazine that won her great acclaim. The film takes you through the all the steps and humiliations women went through in order to make it as a Bunny. Although it is not entirely a feminist expose. There's plenty of stuff for guys here. Although it ... Read More

VHS : Bridge to Silence
I saw this film during a course for American Sign Language and procured a copy to study the signing. The actress playing the lead is quite skilled and I enjoyed her portrayal very much. The story was rather generic - but was fairly good. I felt that the film was well done (if rather an unpleasent tale) for most of the movie - but the ending was too quick, too simple. If you seek a good movie to study sign language this is an excellent choice. If you like movies with more finess regarding the topic of deafness I suggest you take a look at 'Beyond Silence'.

VHS : The Jacksons - An American Dream
The Jacksons: An American Dream along with The Five Heartbeats and The Tempations is one of my favorite male R&B group musical movies. The casting was excllent but the film does have some flaws. The film could have went into more detail about the fellas and it would have been great to hear Find Me A Girl,Daddy's Home and Rock With You.

5.Broken Badge (aka - Violated) starring: Richard Crenna, Meredith Baxter, Pat Hingle, Frances Lee McCain, Cotter Smith

Everyone should see this great min-series from Australia. It has everything...love, hate, revenge etc. I certainly wish it would come out on compatable American DVD. I would buy it for everyone to have in their permanent DVD collections.

VHS : The Lost Child
This child once was lost and now is found by her loving Native American family. I loved this movie, it shows how the Native people live by their traditions, and their deep love of family. The acting was very good, and the story seemed very real. It is a movie to be watched again, and again.
Like most Hallmark Hall of Fame movies it is one that should be enjoyed by the whole family.
