VHS : The Wrong Man
This movie is great viewing.Just the ticket for people trapped in a mundane existence. It starts out in seedy Vera Cruz sailors bars and takes you on a wild ride with desperate characters in a romp through beautifully shot southern Mexico. One of those great adventures in a foreign land movies.A boozy, brawling, sexy, and somewhat vulgar movie, and very entertaining!

VHS : The Christmas Wonder Years - The Holiday Episodes
Wow! This tape would make an excellent gift for all Wonder Years fans! In the first episode, sweet 12-year-old Kevin Arnold is trying to find a present for his girlfriend Winnie and at the same time, the whole Arnold household is hoping Jack, the father will buy them a color t.v. for Christmas. In the end, Kevin learns that Christmas is more than presents and is about the memories and special moments in life. In the second episode, Kevin is older (sixteen-years-old) and is trying to find the perfect present for Winnie again. After the family, suffers a financial blow because Jack's partner decides to not invest in the furniture company, the holiday spirit is again being tested. I enjoyed the tapes so much and I watch them over and over. Definately a good tape.

VHS : Best of the Wonder Years
Of course all of the Wonder Years is the best of the Wonder Years (except for the bits without much Fred Savage in them - for shame!). However, this DVD certainly hits the spot. Five million thumbs up!

VHS : David Holzman's Diary
I lived during during the 1960s and was in NYC from time to time. So consequently the outside film shots were somewhat interesting, but the tedious boredom of "Holzman's" life (doesn't matter it is faux) is draining as a viewer. I enjoy documentaries (faux or not) and this is very shabby compared to so many other films. I could not endure it to view it more than once and the 74 original minutes was about my limit. My video did include the last part (which was somewhat interesting except you wonder if this is a mockumentary, why does he have the beginning of the movie after he was robbed?). Ah, questions, questions, questions, is that the only thing that this video does for the viewer?

Like another reviewer said, let's face facts, a lot of vampire films are either dull, weird, or downright dumb. Dull and a little stupidity makes this vampire film what it is.
It looked like an interesting vampire film at the video rental place. It looked a lot better than some of the other vampire films there. And though the movie I don't hate, I found extremely boring. Hardly anything happened. Most of the time they just talked and snarled at each other and these young ones were just dumb fledglings that are weak and destructive. Hardly as refined and secretive as the old ones, and you wonder why the old ones don't do anything about it. The old ones just sit there and talk and talk with one female that obviously sleeps around as a hobby...boring. Then these vampire hunters are hardly anything more than the ... Read More

VHS : Informant
This is a must-see movie for anyone interested in Ireland, human nature under stress, the IRA, police work, urban guerilla warfare, superb acting, great direction, or simply a wonderfully compelling story. How and why someone would turn informer, how others would relate to him and vice versa -- the way this movie presents these and other issues is superbly well done and the acting is absolutely convincing. Having read the other reviews, I was prepared to find the Dalton character (lead RUC inspector) much more brutal and simplistic than he was. Mind, he's no peach, but Dalton carries conviction, as do all the other actors, including the poor hapless Brit soldier caught up in the middle. Can't recommend this highly enough.

8.Great Balls of Fire starring: Dennis Quaid, Winona Ryder, John Doe, Stephen Tobolowsky, Trey Wilson

VHS : Great Balls of Fire
This comic book like biopic about singer Jerry Lee Lewis (Dennis Quaid) rise to fame and subsequent fall from grace after his marriage with his 13 years old cousin Myra (a very young and very good Winona Ryder) was discovered, is probably not terribly true to life, but it is still very entertaining. Quaid happily hams it up in an over the top performance that has to do more with caricature than with acting. Alec Baldwin adds to the fun in his cameo as Jerry Lee's cousin, preacher Jimmy Swaggart. There is a nifty, idealized pop reconstruction of small town America in the 1950s. And the music, of course, is great. Best scene: staid English journalists raising a scandal when the singer and his teen wife arrive.
