VHS : The Waltons The Children's Carol
The two part episode "The Children's Carol", was the special Christmas story for the sixth season (1977-78), of the classic "The Waltons", and even coming this far into the long run of this series on Network Television was as fine an effort as anything from the earlier years of this legendary program. VHS : Alice in Wonderland
I never saw this growing up- but Alice in wonderland was always a favorite child hood classic.

This version includes so much that Disney has left out. However the costumes are a bit cheesy even for being a childrens movie made in the 80's- and there are waay too many songs. For an all star cast I didnt recognize 80% of the actors and I expect a better performance from pros. The scene with the caterpillar was horrible. Sammy rushed through his lines way to fast "who are you I do not see...." give the girl time to get her lines in guy...

The Hallmark all star cast version was much more enjoyable
