If you like Civil War-era stories and whether or not you read the three books, I think you should enjoy this production. The characters, costumes, settings are all very true to the periods. It should be noted that if you are a Civil War (battles) buff, there aren't many here, it is a story of a family of the Old South and how they cope. I think the character portrayals are all great. One may think Leslie Anne is a little sappy, while at the same time the strength of the story, but it does work. I highly recommend.

3.Abduction Of St. Anne starring: Robert Wagner, E. G. Marshall, William Windom, Lloyd Nolan, Kathleen Quinlan

Well, I'm not english, so I apologize for all the errors you'll find in this review. What can I say about this movie... I saw it several years ago, translated in italian (Il deserto della paura)that's fantastic, what an atmosphere, what a suspance, and the actors are all inspired and well involved in the story. I recommend this to all the hunters of the world, eh eh eh!!! Great Anthony Geary!!!

But in the meantime can ONLY be found on a Out Of Print (And expensive) VHS (Video Tape). Like the Movie "Sparkle" there was NEVER a Soundtrack Album released???? BOTH would be nice (Even in CD Format). A First Class Movie that is well deserving of being released on DVD Format. Strange there wasn't even a sequel....It's still not too late to gather these great actors to do a 2007/2008 sequel.....Something SOMEONE should think about. This is worth hunting down...Just make sure you save your $$$$ because the one's (VHS Videos) that's floating around are NOT cheap (Even in used condition).

I rarely missed an episode of 'Magnum P.I.' when it ran on primetime in the eighties and I still occasion to watch an episode on cable TV when the opportunity presents itself. The four person cast of Tom Selleck, John Hillerman, Roger Mosley and Larry Manetti worked together excellently; equally compelling were the recurring characters, whether from Magnum's days in the Navy intelligence or Higgins' days in the British military each was a brilliantly conceived foil to both of them. That series chemistry is present here in this Christmas themed episode that revolves around a recently acquired Gauguin painting and a group of five preteen schoolgirls.

When Rick phones Magnum to tell him a client contacted him at the club to arrange a meeting, Magnum has no reason to believe this won't be anything ... Read More

i am a big fan of Magnum P.I. Probably the biggest fan in the world. i have seen every episode at least twice and this episode of magnum isnt one of the ones i would have made available for vhs. Personally my favorite episodes have to do with when Magnum and Higgins are fighting over whatever. the episode "Paper War" is a really really good one. Magnum and Higgins are trapped in an elevator in it. Its really funny. MCA if you are listening why dont you guys have every single Magnum P.I. episode on vhs in a box set. Or even better DVD. Thanks.
