VHS : Seven
This isn't just another thriller. This one deals with psychology, philosophy, and the seven deadly sins (Gluttony, Greed, Wrath, Lust, Sloth, Pride, and Envy). This one shakes you to the bone (it really works as a top-rate thriller). The acting, the cinematography, the minimal music, and the urban setting are amazing. And you'll be rightfully shocked at what happens in the end. ****1/2 out of *****.

2.Alien Trilogy starring: Sigourney Weaver, Tom Skerritt, John Hurt, Michael Biehn, Veronica Cartwright

VHS : Alien Trilogy
The Alien thrillogy was well thought out and acted out of the scrupts very well, but after part two the plot got old very quickly. It got boring as being part of the same series. The directors should make an Alien vs. Predator movie and end it all there, once and for all. Alien Ressurection was a great movie filled with action, suspense, and twist, but the plot itself is tiring.

VHS : Aerosmith: Big Ones You Can Look at
First off I must begin this review that this is a good collection to start off with if you do not yet own any previous Aerosmith albums. Admittedly there are other good songs that Aerosmith made that were recorded after this album (such as "don't want to miss a thing"). However as an earlier review posted stated this is a good place to start if you would like to hear some of their 80's and early 90's stuff at a budget price. Some of the songs that I really liked on this cd are "love in an elevator" (9 out of 10),"rag doll" (10 out of 10),"Janie's Got a Gun" (8 out of 10), "Crazy" (9 out of 10), and "Living on the Edge" (10 out of 10). There are various good songs on this cd but for me the songs I just listed are some of the reasons why I still have this cd after first buying this cd ... Read More

VHS : The Game
Great movie! Most of the reviews indicate that most people see this as a movie about a man who plays life changing wild game given as a gift from a brother who also benefited from playing the game. It's really about a rich guy who never understood why his father committed suicide at the age of 48. On his own 48th birthday he finds himself rich, but alone, miserable, depressed, and wondering how much he might be like his father, heading in the same direction (maybe toward suicide). His brother, knowing his rigid, responsible, analytical, no fun nature and that he's miserable in spite of his wealth, tries to help him by giving him an unusual but life changing gift, "The Game".

The story is great fun to follow, but the climactic ending is about how the man finally is driven to the brink ... Read More

VHS : Fight Club
I RARELY watch the same movie twice... so of course I wouldn't go to the same movie twice in the theatre. I did for Fight Club. 2 times in the theatre, every time it's on TV and finally I bought the Collector's Edition DVD, which I've watched twice so far.

The movie is an intelligent view of what we have become as consumers. The fighting is a symbol for the anger that we have to deal with and keep inside every day. If someone told you that this movie sucks because it's about a bunch of people who are angry so they decided to create an underground fight club, ignore him/her.

I won't spoil anything, but if you're the kind of person who is amazed by how people accept obvious "insincerity" and are happy with it, then this movie is for you. If you think it's stupid to spend your ... Read More

Madonna - The Immaculate Collection
Brought back memories of a ground breaking artist who was set on showing the US and the world that a woman can be as sexual as a man. Her take me or leave me sassy spirited style set about fashion trends as well as making way for other woman who express them selves musically or sexually or art was exactly what Madonna set about to show the world. Her acts of humanity is what made this rebels anticts tolerated by many who would just wish she would go away. Well she did show them she is still going strong and has an edge we all love and adore. A must have classic take on Madonna's ground breaking and explicitly shocking historic videos. You get to see controversary at its best with the Like a Prayer video that caused an uproar among christians, parental groups, and ... Read More

I purchased this as a rental here on Amazon because it was listed as a scary movie. This is not a horror or scary movie in any sense of the word. Yes, its a thriller but not one that captivated my attention.
