I acknowledge the flaw pointed out by another reviewer that going around with a magnifying glass looking at things does not exactly constitute an experiment, but it's easy to forgive that since there are so many other good things in this video. This is my personal favorite, and my three and a half son loves it too. As a result, we've had to reenact the cyclone experiment and traipse around with a magnifying glass. The planets song is the highlight of the whole tape: a fun, catchy way to remember them all.

my 15 month old daughter absoulty loves the episode where blue and steve are helping the little chicks sing "row row row your boat" i was wondering if this was the episode "blue wants to play a song. can anyone tell me? ive been looking everywhere for this particular episode.

My 2 year old LOVES Blue and Blue's Clues. We rented this one from the library and she wanted to watch it over and over - I think there's just something magical about birthdays (and other holidays for that matter) for small children. So far this week she has been at her play kitchen making "birthday cakes" for everyone in the house and wanting us to sing the birthday song over and over. Sure my husband and I are sick of the songs but Blues Clues is positive and encourages learning for kids so I say, deal with it. Repetition is how kids learn, and if she loves it, who cares??? I give this one an A+++!!!

This a cute fun video and one of my favorite blues clues videos. I'm a home daycare provider. Over the yrs I have collected over 100 kids videos. Blue's Big Pajama Party seems to entertain my daycare kids ages 14 months to 5 yrs greatly. I also enjoy singing along to the tunes. I do agree with the one reviewer who was bother by the a dream catcher part of the video. I think they should have at least say something on the box about this. Some people really don't want their children to know about this new age teaching. But saying that I still would have bought this video for the other parts of the video. I like that this video tries to help children understand that we all have bad dreams and that we can change are dreams if we think really hard.

Kids can't seem to help but like Blue and all her friends. They are bright and colorful. The songs are interesting and repeated each episode to make it easy for the children to memorize. The arts and crafts on this tape can easily be replicated at home with your own children.

My daughters received this video awhile back and love it. We usually get it out around Christmas, because they enjoy anything relating to winter holidays. They have learned a lot from this video, through Blue, Steve, and their friends. They enjoy learning in this manner, with familiar characters from Blue's show, as well as other videos and books. If you're looking for a fun way to teach your young ones about other holidays and customs, this is a wonderful tool. Even though we don't watch Blue's Clues as often as we used to, this is still a treasured favorite.

I thought that my five-year old son had outgrown the fine library of Blue's Clues videos when I saw this one. Mistakenly, I purchased it to help him learn to tell time as he was interested and ready to learn. This video is fine for helping children develop the concept of activity-related time throughout the day, but not what I was expecting or in the market for. Blue's Clues helps to develop so many skills that are often ignored in early educational efforts including excellent critical thinking and conceptual skills. However, it is important to purchase the video for the correct audience. This title was misleading to me, although the video would be valuable for a younger child who has yet to master the concept of time throughout the day.
