The other reviews of this movie are way too kind. There is very little "steam" in this movie. Not a bad plot, but let's be honest, that's not why we watch these direct to video / cinemax softcore movies. Joan Severance does look good as usual. However, the erotica scenes are few and far between and there is virtually nothing more revealing in the unrated version so don't spend your $ here. Joan looks at her best putting on shiny white thigh highs underneath a tight yellow dress, but nothing happens with her and this luscious outfit. A complete waste. This is bound to disappoint so don't be misled by the other reviews.

ok he is a cop, he is also the man running a elite crime fighting unit that manages to wipe out all crime in an area then moves on.... however after investigation (mario van peebles) discovers this has happened over and over city to city so he begins to Investigate a past on his elite unit boss and finds out some very disturbing facts. it would seem the serum they take to Enhance them in battle is something not natural. so he delves deeper to bring about the Shocking conclusion to this Exciting movie. lost one star for just a touch of cheese on some of the acting.

A cheesy sequel that is well worth the rental or paying of this film. Firstly, we find the characters where they were from the previous film and things then everything starts to go from bad to worse. Secondly, a common rich boy becomes a man of high class society in medival times. FInally, we find that our two main characters talk to each other over the space of time. Then in the end we find our hero's success and once again reunited through love and time.

You've got to hand it to "Submerged" - it's certainly very different from any other movie out there starring Steven Seagal. Director Anthony Hickox ("Waxwork", "Hellraiser III") certainly had a vision in mind that was different from typical action fare when he co-wrote and directed this little thriller. Whether you like it or not, any regular viewer of Seagal's films will at least look twice at what at what the Seagal-Hickox duo bring to the table...the problem is, this one's guaranteed to have more people dislike it than not.
