I can't BELIEVE this hasn't been put out on DVD yet!! What's up Paramount? It will be well worth it! If you haven't seen this yet, pick up a copy if you can!! The price is so high because so many people love this film and there's a great lack of copies.. Well worth it if you can get it, you're kids will love it!

VHS : The Rage: Carrie 2
I recently bought this movie and saw that most of it's setting was at a high school and high school kids. Not that that's bad but this did make it get uninteresting in some areas but towards the end was a freaky/scary ending where the main character unleashes her telekinetic powers at a party where they were lots of high school kids around that aparked her rage. I've heard from a lot of people that Carrie part 1 is good but I saw it and it was in a 1970s or 80s setting which I didn't like so I wouldn't recommend Carrie part 1.

VHS : Held for Ransom
Dennis Hopper must have his name on producers lists for roles that require sadistic, unbridled menace. In HELD FOR RANSOM, he plays a kidnapper with little scruples and a maniacal laugh, and he does well in it. Debi Mazur as his hick wife is very good as well. Hopper murders a bus driver and then hijacks a bus so he can get five rich kids and hold them for ransom. Zachery Ty Bryan, Danny Spelling head the cast of kids and we get Morgan Fairchild, Timothy Bottoms, John Getz and Joan van Ark as the worried parents. There is an unexpected twist at the end you may not see coming, and overall, HELD FOR RANSOM is an okay film.

Sam Simms (Sinbad) is an unorthodox Secret Service agent. The Secret Service assigns Agent Simms to protect the President's son, Luke Davenport (Brock Pierce of "Might Ducks"), code named Prince. Luke has managed to dispose of several previous Secret Service agents by driving them crazy, including Agent Woods (Timothy Busfield of "Thirtysomething" and "The West Wing").

The movie tries to portray Luke as a child ignored by his famous mother and father and unable to have a normal childhood. Though I empathize with Luke a little, he also generally acts wimpy. However, thirteen-year-old Luke has stirrings of normality as he gains a huge crush on classmate Katie Warren (Erin Williby in her final role) and has a run-in with the class bully. After the run-in with class bully Rob (Zachery Ty Bryan), ... Read More

The formula for this movie is the tried and true one of kid meets misunderstood creature, creature and kid become friends, bad guy tries to get creature, kid/creature friendship triumphs, and kid and creature have "Born Free"-type goodbye. The "protect nature" thing isn't overdone either. It's definately for the 10&Under crowd(my 3 and 4 year liked it), but it works.

We really enjoyed this movie. Remember, It is just a movie.
Two thumbs up!!
Locations don't need to be real to make a point.
Scenery is very pretty. Poachers get what they deserve, brought to justice. The way that they made the animals suffer about makes you cry.

August{Indian} teaches about respect & appreciation for the wildlife, nature & in real life situations about family.
Teaches the kids a lot in 3 days.

Had a very good happy ending.

Very good movie we have seen in a very long time. Good family adventure type movie. Due to the nature of the poachers, not suitable for a young audience. More like pre-teen to Adult. Not at all a small kids movie.

August{played in Free Willy Movies} playes the Indian in this movie.
