VHS : Ski Patrol
Well this is definitely one of the weirdest snow ski movies I've ever seen. And when I first saw it, I tried to cross-referrence the characters in it compared to the ones in the Police Academy movies. It stars Roger Rose, Yvette Nipar, T.K. Carter, the late Ray Walston, and Martin Mull. Snowy Peaks I believe which is the name of this ski resort is where it takes place, and they are about to be evaluated on their performance, and when Martin Mull finds out about it, he tries to blackball their safety features so they can close down so he can takeover the ski resort and make his own resort, it's up to the ski resort to save it's reputation and keep it open. To me, the funniest part is the guy SUICIDE...the guy with a THREE part personality when he does the snowboard, and rocket skis and ... Read More

VHS : Doctor Mordrid
Come on, surely this deserves a DVD, whether on it's on own, or with a few of Jeffrey Combs' greatest hits [hint-hint]...? Why don't the production companies look to see what films people actually *want* to buy, instead of what they think people want to buy? If it's a 'cult' film, they can put a few together; most people tend to like the same type of films, the same actors; it's not brain surgery. We'd probably have a lot fewer bargain bins at Walmart if they did this! I'd really like to get rid of my VHS copy of Doctor Mordrid, and move a little further into this modern world! Please, give us a DVD. :)

VHS : Twilight Man
** I first saw part of this movie about 2 years ago but was interrupted about a third of the way through. I'd been looking for it to be shown again ever since but had little success, until just recently when I did see it again.
I don't know what it is about this film -- perhaps it's the plummy Southern drawl of the Swinburne-quoting Hollis Deitz (Dean Stockwell); perhaps it's his proficiency as a computer hacker. Or it could be the bedeviled Tim Matheson who plays the object of Stockwell's very unwanted attentions. In any event, if it kept me looking to find it again for more than two years, which is a thing that pretty rarely happens with me, it must have something.

VHS : Black Horizon
Wow, watching this movie alone on a Saturday night was torture. This is almost an unwatchable, cheap low budget action flick with plot holes abound. The film begins like a average cop thriller with a crackdown and Ice-T sporting a lame car chase sequence. But then the film takes an odd turn and goes to outerspace Russian space sation and Ice-T is hardly in the rest of the film. They seemed to only have time to actually film 3/4 of a movie and padded the rest with stock footage from NASA and the Navy. When the film was over, I couldn't believe I a actually sat through it. While I was sitting there I was checking out the special features and low-and-behold it had a feature length commentary by the director and producer. I had to watch the film again to see what these numbskulls had to say about the ... Read More

Christian Oliver is great in this erotic thriller, he is so hot. I think that this is an erotic thriller for either sex. I am a guy who liked it a lot, mainly because of Christian. The girl was pretty hot too. The movie contains a interesting plot and has another known actor Ice-T. While the story circles around a murder mystery it has a lot of wild scenes.
