VHS : Mysterians
I have the VHS version of this film and is the original Movie but with one exception. All of the voices have been overdubbed by American speaking people. NOT American speaking Japanese people. The voices are so bad, that some are duplicated among different actors in the movie. The Japanese version is excellent, worth watching.

For me this is one of the greatest works of cinema every created. I am not prone to hyperbole, but High and Low constantly remains at the top of my favorite movies list. Toshiro Mifune shines brightly.

These types of morality movies always tend to get bad ratings I am not sure why. For your information people there is more that goes into a Godzilla movie than Just explosions and battle scenes. If that was not exciting enough they went one step further and threw into two bank robbers who made of with 50 million yen. When the boy finds one of the thief's wallet. The thieves panicking that they will be discover kidnapped the boy ... Read More

VHS : Godzilla Vs Mothra
Mothra vs. Godzilla is one of the best Godzilla films ever. The bright colors, the excellent special effects, the monster action, and a basic, yet interesting plot all come together and make this movie what it is. This movie is just pure fun for any fan of giant monsters and/or old-school sci-fi flicks. This movie is also a lot less campy than the future films in the series. As a sci-fi film, it's four stars, but among Godzilla films, it's easily five.

If you're already a Godzilla fan, don't hesitate to pick this up as soon as you can!

VHS : Musashi Miyamoto
"Samurai I," starring Toshiro Mifune as first Takezo, then Miyamoto Musashi, is an excellent film into the trilogy which will conclude with the final, and best episode, "Samurai III: Duel at Ganryu Island." In this first film, Takezo (Toshiro Mifune) as he is known in the begining, [but will later be named Miyamoto Musashi], is a brash young man. As a peasant, he decides to leave his village and enter the army, which is on its way to do battle. However, he becomes despondent when his side is defeated. As he returns to his village, he has become an outcast, and when arrested for treason, he is saved by a monk from death, who tells Takezo to study the samurai code. When looking back on the episode, I realize that director Inagaki did a very good job with his plot development, as we see a brash and abrasive ... Read More
