It took me a second viewing to really appreciate this film. Since then I have watched it many times. This is one of the rare movies where Richard Gere has an equally attractive co-star (Valerie Kaprisky). Intersection with Sharon Stone would be another example. Richard and Valerie are hard to beat as pure eye candy. They apparently agreed, as word has it that they embarked on a tempestuous affair after this film. I believe she was only nineteen when the movie was made. The eclectic soundtrack makes this film all the better.
