VHS : Tiny Toon Adventures: How I Spent My Vacation
First of all, I love Tiny Toons HISMV. My mom loves it and it is possibly one of the funniest summer comedies since One Crazy Summer and many others. The show just got released on DVD and I hope to expect a DVD release of this movie which needs to come out into the spotlight finally. My god, this flick was only available on VHS for so long and now there's not too many people out there who own VCRs anymore. They've all moved on to DVDs and Blu-Ray. Sadly HISMV is not part of that all. It will be soon though hopefully. I hope to get this movie just so me and my parents can enjoy nostalgic laughs and God knows how many people want to go to Happy World Land! I sure as hell wanted to: BUT NOT ON THAT DAMN MONORAIL! The cart chase in the end is still great. If this film does not come out..... uh ... Read More

This is a great holiday show for the kids (probably 4 and up). Funny characters and Drew Barrymore shows some unseen talent. The songs are catchy and the animation is incredible, especially for us Simpson fans.

VHS : Animaniacs: Helloooo Holidays
Just sat back and watched this tape with the family last night for the first time in a few years. Boy this is some funny stuff. Wakko, Yakko, and Dot are Warner Bros. crazies in the best tradition of Warner's golden age of the 30's and 40's. This 45 minute or so tape features 6 holiday shorts featuring the Animaniacs, Wacky Squirrel and Pinky and the Brain.

Thier take on an upbeat and swinging "Little Drummer Boy" is a joy. The Great Wakkorotti (read Pavarotti) Belches "jingle Bells" and is sure do delight the kids.

There's a nice take on Scrooge as the Animaniacs save Ralph the Security guard's job at the Warner Brothers lot from mean old studio Head Mr. Plotz...

All very good and fun stuff. Good animation and songs.

This movie is not what I expected. The content is a little advanced for 4-5 year olds. But the characters are really cute.

VHS : The Land Before Time V - The Mysterious Island
I only saw this movie because of Chomper's return. I'm a Chomper addict. Although I don't think this movie had even close to the amount of Chomper needed, I have to say it was a well-done movie. No, it doesn't hold a candle to the original Land Before Time or the second one, but it still deals with a sensitive and possibly disturbing dilemma (the Sharpteeth's eating of the other dinosaurs) in a mature way.

Chomper talks--I wasn't really expecting that. But it was adorable and I love him! He even sings! Eee!

I wasn't disappointed with this movie (I mean, I gave it four stars), but I wasn't too thrilled. More Chomper and it would've been perfect.

VHS : Rugrats: Santa Experience
The "Santa Experience" movie is great for kids my age! "The Blizzard" is about Tommy and his pals going to the North Pole to met Santa Claus. Even though it's only about 30 minutes it's still GREAT!!

VHS : Rugrats - Phil & Lil Double Trouble
Phil and Lil gots style...without this dynamic duo, there would be no Rugrats. Tommy and Chuckie can't pull a show through by themselves, and that quickly becomes apparent as you realize how hilarious these two are on their own. Their constant squabbles never cease to amuse. Without Phil and Lil, the Rugrats are bland and boring.
