VHS : Yours Mine & Ours
Yours, MIne and Ours is a sweet family film but some of the scenes are kind of boring and unfunny. Lucille Ball and Henry Fonda have great chemistry together, in the movie both of them have a lot of children and when they get married, boy talk about a blended family! Some of the kids are annoying, some are helpful. If you like The Brady Bunch then you'll probably enjoy this flick. Enjoy!

VHS : Secret War of Harry Frigg
It sure would be nice if this movie were to become available on DVD or
Blu-Ray it it's original theatrical widescreen release. Remastered
sound and picture, if necessary, would be great, too. This is one of
Paul Newman's best films. Looking forward to the day.

VHS : The Bastard; Part 1 of the Kent Family Chronicles
andrew stevens (son of stella stevens) stars as philip kent in this first mini-series based on the john jakes kent family novels.
stevens is a french boy who learns that he is the title person after finding out that his real father is an english nobelman and heads to england to claim his birthright. his fathers family doesn't intend to let him have anything and tries to have him killed. this causes philip to flee to america, under the name philip kent , and gets him involved in the fight for liberty.
this is a very good show, even if it mainly plays like a soap opera, and stevens is quite good as philip. give this one a chance and you may like it.

VHS : The Rebels: Part 2 of the Kent Family Chronicles
i love john jakes kent family novels but i have to say the rebels was the least of the books.very little war happens in it and the two main people the novel follows never meet.
well the mini-series takes care of all of that and is a very good rousing adventure story with a great cast and the best sound track of any of the jakes mini-series. andrew stevens once again plays philip kent and is joined by a young don johnson as judson flecher. the action flows nicely in this one and the cast is great. do yourself a favor and check this one out.

VHS : Wicked Stepmother
After a 60 year acting career, a double mastectomy, followed immediately by a dabilitating stroke, 'The First Lady of American Cinema', Bette Davis kept acting. While she was living with terminal cancer, the daughter she adored wrote a stupid, burnable book about Davis which is obviously trying to capitalize upon her mother's successful career & great name; rather than being based in truth. Since it is a slam against Bette Davis as a mother, which has long been discredited, it is so true to the character of Bette Davis, who loved to play pranks & be humorous, to leave us with "Wicked Stepmother" as her final film. If audiences can place this film in the contexts of Davis flipping-the-bird to her spiteful, ingrate of a daughter, then "Wicked Stepmother" is extremely funny & high camp. Bette Davis ... Read More

VHS : The Legend of the Candy Cane
This heart warming movie is excellent. Yes, it doesn't go with the book, but the story is exceptional. The whole family loves to watch it even when it's not around Christmas time. For the price you can't hardly find a better movie.
