but you'll have to see for yourself. However, if you don't find this movie at all interesting it's certainly not for a lack of ambience, the cinematography is as gorgeous as any I've ever seen. For fans of the 80's direct to video market.

2.Wizards of the Lost Kingdom starring: Bo Svenson, Vidal Peterson, Thom Christopher, Barbara Stock, Maria Socas

VHS : Wizards of the Lost Kingdom
Actually, the lovely Maria Socas did The
Warrior and the Sorceress w/ Carradine
(topless!) in 1984, one-and-a-half yrs.,
before this came out. Welles redid his
role with Carradine in 1989. The '89
version with Bobby Jacoby, Sid Haig,
et, al is better. These movies inspired
the Harry Pothead Series. I wouldn't
recommend these for kids, but it's harm-
less adults. Carradine reprises his 'Dark
One/Kaine' role from Wizards of the Lost
kingdom here, instead of the Svenson cha-
racter of the W.O.t.L.K. role of the first
1985 film, an improvement, even if he was
wearing a wig!

VHS : Deathstalker 3
"Deathstalker and the Warriors from Hell" is one of the reasons why the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences is finicky with giving gold statues to the entire fantasy genre. It's laughably bad,and luckily,MST3K masterfully ripped this one. It won't get an Oscar, but it does get a viewing on the Satellite of Love!

The "hero",Deathstalker (John Allen Nelson) is a greedy, gluttonous womanizing thief. The cover art depicts him as muscular and brawny--he isn't. He's an idiotic dweeb who's entrusted with protecting three women (two end up dead) He battles an evil bald hero who delivers his lines haltingly, and his sidekick is a wizard who's a bargain basement Gandalf. Deathstalker has to find three jewels to find the legendary "City of Treasure." But he doesn't mind being obnoxious ... Read More

I bought this movie for my family because once a week during the summer time, the kids take turns picking out a theme and we watch a movie and eat dinner foods based on that theme. This was a great movie enjoyed by my 12 year old son and my husband and myself. My 10 year old daughter was very scared and would run in and out of the living room. This movie is much more graphic than you might think so take that in to consideration when choosing this movie for your younger ones. We loved the story line, we were constantly on the edge of our seats, we laughed hysterically at some parts, and thoroughly enjoyed this very entertaining movie! Great movie for the whole family - just consider the maturity level of your under 10 crowd. I don't think my daughter was quite ready.

VHS : Peril
PERIL is one of those movies you kick yourself for watching. A derivative plot, poor acting, with characters that do really stupid things, especially the cops. Michael Pare (one of B movie's worst actors) plays Vincent Scarpetti, a psychopathic mental patient, who escapes from his asylum in a murderous spree. Morgan Fairchild and John James play a middle-aged couple down on their luck. He's an electrician who due to a genetic bone disorder is unable to work so spends his time whining and drinking. She's his long-suffering wife, who comes up with a plan to get the money necessary to save their house and get him the operation he needs: seems like his brother, a cop, stole some money and then killed himself, leaving behind a map where the money was hidden. The couple in desperatin decide to retrieve ... Read More

I give it 5 stars because it contains some pretty cool water sking and of course Christy Thom. For those who don't know this movie came out about the same time that Christy was a Playboy centerfold. you only get to see a little of her in the movie but she is very beautiful and much more revieling in her pictoral with Playboy.
