What a pleasure this spanish video is. I really, really enjoyed the pace and the humor - it makes it much easier to understand and learn the subject. If you don't like a different appproach to learning, then this is not for you. But if you like to look at learning as a fun, life long process, then I highly recommend this series. I would actually say that you should buy the DVD version - it;s much longer and gives you more conent. I am going to buy the Advanced Spanish too. By the way, the actresses and actors are funny and very good looking.

I have never seen a presentation on grammar like this. These guys are teachers that enfuse subjects with lots of fun, interesting devices to help you relax and learn the subject. I would recommend this to any parent with a student struggling in grammar. I've since purchased many others for my kids.

My ADHD son has always had a hard time with math concepts. For some reason, these fast paced and fun videos make math "click" in his brain. They might not work well for someone with a "normal" functioning brain and very well might make them nervous and flustered. It would be really great if they would make two versions of these videos...one fast, one slower. I will be buying them all before wer're said and done.

I bought this video for my nine year old sisters (I took French, so of course they want to copy me). My sisters are homeschooled by my mother. My mother and sisters viewed it. My mother knows no French besides croissant, and my sisters know some French songs from the Family Circus Lyric Language cassette (which I highly reccommend). Anyway, my mother and sisters learned from it. It goes too fast, though, and it attempts to cover too much in 30 minutes. My mother was lost at some points. It's actually humorous. Not bad for "edutainment." It's a pretty good introduction (or supplement) for junior high to adult, and a good supplement for third/fourth grade and up. Since it first came out I have been using this video to help me to teach public speaking fundamentals to college students. As the director of a speaking center at a public university, my staff and I have used many parts of it in interactive public speaking workshops. The video starts off with communication apprehension as it is related to public speaking, very well received by all audiences! I do not recommend using this video to replace interactive classroom teaching, but it does make a great supplement. The format works well with the learning styles of today's adults. The format is fun, it truly makes public speaking appear to be as simple to learn as any other lesson one might learn by watching Sesame Street!
