VHS : Evening Star
By the time Jack Nicholson shows up for about five minutes of screen time as Garrett Breedlove, this turgid 1996 sequel to 1983's Terms of Endearment has already slogged through two deaths, a psychotherapist with an Oedipal complex, and a lot of scrapbooks. The problems with this shamelessly manipulative movie are many, and they all begin with the inevitable premise that tough Texas matron Aurora Greenway can carry on without being challenged by her feisty daughter Emma. However, without Debra Winger's earthy grit counterbalancing Shirley MacLaine's flamboyant disapproval, the story seems to work in a vacuum. Much of the appeal and resonance of the first film came from how these characters dealt with life's unpredictable course and how James L. Brooks captured their idiosyncrasies with a refreshing ... VHS : Lady & The Tramp II - Scamp's Adventure
This is a great disappointment from Disney and an overall terrible tribute to the original. The soundtrack and songs were likely put together overnight by aging vaudeville composers and an "I wanna be me" adolescent girl. The music is absolutely laughable! The movie has no entertainment value to young children and would likely bore the heck out of the rebellious teens it strives to identify with.

An embarrassment!

VHS : Teenage Bonnie & Klepto Clyde
Bonnie (played by Maureen Flannigan), the daughter of the new police commissioner, doesn't feel like going on to college. Clyde (played by Scott Wolf), a high school student with a side job of flipping burgers, takes a fancy to Bonnie when they discover a mutual mania for stealing things. Bonnie wants lighters, cassettes, and clothers; Clyde goes in for cars, microscopes, and random junk. They discover that they have their very best sex right after committing a crime. To keep the sex great, the crimes keep having to get bigger. Soon the media and police are pressing as hard as they can to stop the crime spree. Clyde starts hoping for more out of the relationship.

This film does a nice job of updating the famous Bonnie & Clyde film and keeps up a good energy level. There are several ... Read More

I tried. My wife and I watched about 20-25 minutes with an open mind trying like heck to see what the good reviews are about. It's not that the movie is terrible in the conventional sense. The acting is fine, and it has a moment or two to make you smile. Unfortunately though, it is mind-numbingly boring. We're both mid-30s, so maybe the new generation has different tastes, but at the 20+ minute mark we both looked at each other and decided that this was a complete waste of money and time. Luckily it only cost three bucks, but that's three bucks I didn't get any value for. I won't subject anyone else to this. The good news is that the DVD case has been recycled. The bad news is that the DVD is now part of our local landfill. I just wish DVDs were recyclable.

VHS : Party of Five: The Wedding
I just purchased the Party of Five DVD's and this particular VHS. I watched this one last night, and I must say, I did not remember that much of this episode from before.

The acting was excellent, and really showed the emotions of ALL the family members, but how SAD for them to have not gotton married.

Does anyone know if there were more show AFTER the wedding one? Does Charlie and Kristen get together again?

Anyone can email me at my address if they wish to.

Great movie. You don't see much of Scott Wolf anymore but the movie is great and all of the actors made you a part of the story.
I recommend it if you like movies set on the ocean or boats. I guess it is also a god disaster movie too.

7.Even Hitler Had a Girlfriend starring: Andren Scott, Sarah Young, Jean Wolf, Christie Cass, Karen Zaczkowski

I watched the show for years and loved it. I wish it would re-run somewhere but unfortunately the dvd of the first season is all I have. I was always an avid wednesday night fox channel watcher, which featured Party Of Five and 90210. If you're looking for a show to get hooked on, this totally it. At least for the loyal fans the dvd is a great blast from the plast
