ERNEST [JIM VARNEY], WHO'S NOW A JANITOR AT A HIGH SCHOOL, IS FORCED TO GO THROUGH HIGH SCHOOL AGAIN TO GET HIS DIPLOMA. THIS WAS TOTALLY UNFUNNY AND HORRIBLY BAD. THIS IS UNENDURABLE. THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST OF THE ERNEST SERIES AND THIS MOVIE AIN'T EVEN WORTH OWNING, LET ALONE WATCHING. ONLY PURE ERNEST DIE-HARDS WILL ENJOY THIS ONE. IF YOU'RE LOOKING TO LAUGH A LOT, THIS MOVIE SURELY WON'T HELP YOU DO IT! FOLLOWED BY SLAM DUNK ERNEST.

VHS : Dead Ahead
I had seen this movie on HBO years ago, and decided to purchase the VHS tape. There are no holds barred in recreating this actual and startling event. All the performances are first rate, not the least of which is Capt. Hazelwood, who can't give a urine sample ("if you can't piss, you can't piss!) Christopher Lloyd as Exxon's beleaugered CEO, trying to overcome the disaster, gives a memorable performance. One negligent act caused damage beyond belief. I don't feel sorry for Exxon and the billions they spent on the clean up. The Cordova fishermans' business suffered, not to mention all the precious wildlife in the Sound. Pregnant women were allegedly affected as well from burning an oil slick! A must see film that helps you understand corporations, greed, politics, neglect, public relations, ... Read More

VHS : I've Been Waiting for You
I anxiously wait each Halloween for this movie to air. It didn't this year and I was extremely disappointed. So I decided to search the internet for it and - lo and behold - amazon came through AGAIN! I've watched it several times already and never get tired of it. I'm extremely fascinated with Salem, Mass. and witchcraft and if you are too, this one's for you! Just a bit creepy but full of suspense!

VHS : Kill Me Later (Spanish) (Sub)
I liked the absurdities in this film, but the chemistry between Selma Blair, and Max Beesley was also great.

A bank teller ( Blair ) decides to 'off' herself by jumping from the roof of her bank building, while the bank is in the process of being robbed. One of the robbers ( Beesley ) is chased back into the bank, and up to the roof just in time to grab the would-be suicide, and then, of course, threatens to kill her when a cop corners him. The robber manages to get the cop to back down. He then makes a deal with his hostage, telling her he'll kill her later if she helps him escape. Things begin getting complicated when the two of them start to like each other. I must admit that I was cheering the unlikely duo on, pretty much from the moment they began sharing screen-time.
