VHS : Runaway Ralph
Ralph is back! John Clark Matthews is amazing. This movie was hilarious! I remember some funny lines. Ralph: I thought I gave you a ride. I did, didn't I? [later] Uncle Lester: Ralph you're grounded!

Ralph: But I did wat you said. Uncle Lester: Did what I said, but I didn't say to do that!

Fred Savage was cool for Garfield, and Conchata Ferrel was funny for Aunt Jill. Kellie Martin who played Karen was amazing, and Sara Gilbert and Summer Phoenix who were Stephanie and Vanessa were great. Walker Edmiston was sssssssssssssssssssssoooooooooooooooooooooooo good and scary for Catso. I've seen Walker in other movies, but not Edan Gross who was the artful Merton. Oh, yeah, another funny line. Ralph: That Catso cat needs a lesson, that I'm going to teach him! ... Read More

VHS : Andy Hardy Gets Spring Fever
I would have to say that out of all the Andy Hardy movies I have seen this is the least entertaining. It doesn't have as good of a story line as the other ones. Basically what happens is Andy doesn't care much for his drama class...that is until he falls for the new substitute drama teacher. He improves rapidly in his class and even writes and stars in a play called "Adrift in Tahiti." Everyone notices the obvious difference in his age and the teachers age, well, except Andy. And he becomes heartbroken when he finds out of her engagement to another man.

Like all Andy Hardy movies, this movie does have a few comical situations, but it is not near as good as the other ones.

VHS : That Hamilton Woman
This is a typical London Films Korda classic of the time. While a beautiful and romantic film, much of the incidents portrayed in Emma's life are highly romanticized and inaccurate. Vivian Leign is her usually charged and bouncy self, and Olivier his usual stiff upper lip. The film becomes more a show of chemistry between these two famous actors of the time, with history loosely thrown in!

Vivian Leigh is all over this film, and while some find her bubbly manner charming, at times it can be annoying. I was half expecting her to go into her Scarlet bit while Olivier (Nelson) was being dragged along with the story. The production value is certainly first-rate, although a bit inaccurate at times. The film's music was certainly not period at all, and at one point one hears "A Life ... Read More

VHS : Paul & Michelle
Back in 1975, when I was at the Air Force Academy -Venezuela, we used to watch a movie every friday night. The night I saw Friends, with Paul & Michelle, changed the way of seeing life for me then, because being only 16 1/2 years old, I had to be inside those four walls. However, my mind was set up free and had virtually no boundaries.

Years past by and I was not able to watch theat wonderful movie ever, and the song was not heard much either anywhere. Now, this classic movies from the 70's brings back so many nice memories of that young couple that revived the way life should be. Of course, Mr. Elton John's song gave that final "touche". Thanks to Mr Gilbert too, was terrific.

PLAY IT AGAIN IN THEATERS, CABLE, TV, INTERNET, EVERYWHERE so people can enjoy it as much as ... Read More

VHS : Riding in Cars With Boys
My wife loves this movie, and I have to say that I find it quite enjoyable myself. Surprisingly, `Riding in Cars with Boys' is a decent dramatic comedy that touches the heart and pleases the viewer. I say surprisingly because it never generated any buzz and thus became a forgotten film. I love Drew Barrymore; I find her as talented as she is beautiful and I can't really get enough of her. Here she shines brightly, as always, and adds layers to the film. In fact, the acting across the board is extremely strong here and is a huge selling point. The film has a few drawbacks; especially the ending, but there are enough highlights to make up for a few disappointing turns.

The film tells the true story of young Beverly D'Onofrio who wound up pregnant at 15, married to a loser and living the life she never dreamed she'd live. Beverly ... Read More
