Voice over? VOICE OVER? Since when does a Star Wars movie start with a poorly read voice over? What happened to the opening scroll? That is just the begining of a movie riven with poor voice acting, poor dialogue, a shotgun pattern of plot holes and clunky animations. The lightsaber battles are underwhelming. The story overall does nothing to move the Clone Wars story forward. Terrible.

The DVD transfer is excellent as is the sound quality. Its a shame the movie is so bad.

I a might like this better if it wasn't Pixar. But it's not witty, at all, has great animation and good action scenes and few laughs. Few, as in not enough to support film. Oh, well.

I originally purchased this for a friend who is also a teacher, however after seeing it, I decided I wanted one for my classroom as well! It is a great mix of animation and actual footage. My friend teaches in the primary grades and we both felt additional instruction and explanation might be necessary for that audience. I teach upper elementary and the DVD will support a basal reader selection quite nicely and without additional instruction. Highly recommend.

VHS : Jackie Brown
Quinton Tarantino is one of those directors you either love or hate, but there is no denying that he has talent, and what makes his talent even more obvious is his rich sense of style. Tarantino has a very unique charm that he layers his films with, giving them such warm originality.

Much like with directors Baz Luhrmann and David Fincher, a Quinton Tarantino film is undeniably a film by Quinton Tarantino.

With that said; the fact that some have criticized `Jackie Brown' for being a change of pace or unlike Tarantino's more successful films (`Pulp Fiction' and `Reservoir Dogs') is rather preposterous, for if you truly look at the film in all it's technical aspects you can't help but see Tarantino shining through in every frame.

It bares his name, thus it bares ... Read More

This movie is cute for my 8 year old but it's not really one she wants to watch over and over in our van for long trips. It has some sad parts and the story line is too heavy for my 2 year old to stay interested. It's very cute and enjoyable but is more a one time movie in our opinion. I'm still glad to own it.

This film represents a refreshing take on the comic book genre. Bruce Willis and Samuel Jackson give great performances. Tonally, Unbreakable is excellent, although it does move slowly at times. This show let me know that M. Night was not a fluke. After seeing it, I was a Shyamalan fan.

The 2-Disc DVD has a lot of great extras, including some cool artwork. The best part is Shyamalan's directing. The movie feels like you are in a comic book. As a previous collector, I especially enjoyed this film and DVD. I don't know how anyone who likes comics could dislike it.

I purchased this documentary to supplement a 5th grade unit on slavery. I can't imagine a better way for students to learn about the experiences African Americans faced under the institution of slavery than these first hand accounts. This documentary has been wonderfully done. The 'actors' are such a small part of the overall production. Not once did it detract from the themes of the film.

There were a couple bits that I choose to skip due to content and age of the audience. And while the picture painted was harsh, it was reality for those living in slavery. Clearly anyone viewing this with children of any age needs to be ready to have a heavy discussion prior to and after viewing.
