VHS : Ride BMX Magazine Presents Industry
I'm a big fan of BMX and I especially like riders who aren't super famous so I liked this video a lot. I got to see my favorite rider, Seth Kimbrough. This is rare because with guys like Mirra, Hoffman, and Nyquist dominating the sport, the lil guys don't get to shine much. That's not the case with "Industry" because I get to see some of my favorite, sometimes under-rated, riders.

VHS : Dave Mirra's Trick Tips, Vol. 1 - BMX Basics
Just learned to ride that BMX of yours? You will want to pick this dvd up if you want to get to the ramps. Not much in the way of flatland/freestyle riding. Just enough to get you going for the ramps. I don't have any skate parks near me so flatland/freestyle is the most I can hope for. Why do they tear down kids dirt ramps in vacant fields? I'm 25 and I say it stinks! Anyhow, the real beginner will appreciate this dvd, and so will mom and dad. Covers safety often and most importantly (to mom and dad's wallet) what to look for in a first bike! GET TO IT!

VHS : Ultimate X: Movie
I'm not an avid sports fan but I like taking a look at movies like Ultimate X. Even with the short 39 minute time limit, the movie still manages to make you enjoy it. It's pretty much lots of footage gathered from past X-Games enhanced to fit the huge IMAX screens that it was shown on. Many people don't like watching IMAX movies on video because you lose the greatness of the movie. I will agree but the movie while not being presented in widescreen (it's presented in 1.33:1 fullscreen, not a shock for these IMAX transfers) the image still looks very nice. The audio doesn't suffer much either, because you not only get a Dolby Digitl 5.1 track, you get a wall pounding DTS 5.1 track also. Over the two, I'd pick the DTS because it was more bass filled and more environment enveloping but if you don't ... Read More

VHS : Miracle Boy & Nyquist: BMX
If you're a fan of BMX, you've heard of Mirra and Nyquist. And this video covers things you never knew about your favorite riders. It tracks them through competitions and moves. You get to see the riders when they're not riding and learn that they ARE real people. The video catches the riders on their downtime. If you're a fan of BMX and a fan of Mirra and Nyquist, you should check out the video because it gets awesome footage of the awesome tricks theses guys do and also, what they do when not riding.
