I think that this was weird that this was a Paramount movie and the tag line said Dimension Diversion On Miramax Films. This was 1993 movie, DVD Release 1993 94 minutes long ( very rare ). Region 2 didn't have near good effects. Micahs Transformation wasn't on R.2, when Micah gets hit by eletric bolt he screams and on R.2 he doesn't, then his voice gets real deep at the end not on R.2, then when the face appears on Micah his face changes shape before the devil appears. The Top Ten New Mdeia DVD doesn't have those effects. Different music was in different regions, the VHS had those effects to, and feel free to comment and ask me questions about this CotC movie. I saw this on TV and it amazed me. This movie is so bad that it's actually really funny and entertaining. The puppets are terrible, the jokes are cheesy, and Jack Black gives an appropriately over the top performance. You can all but see him winking at the camera saying "I know this is awful, but let's make the most of it, shall we?" I recommend this to anyone who likes B movies.

This is a good movie for any horror movie fan ( like me ). I first discovered this moie when I saw Children of the Corn 2, I was looking up all the actors like Paul Scherror and Terence Knox, and Marty Terry, then I checked Ryan Bollman and then I found this and I bought it and watched it from there. So a family wants to poison the Granny / mother on Thanksgiving, but little Amy gives it away and Granny has a heart attack. When she dies, she comes back from the dead, killing the people at the morgue, her sons, neice, daughter in law, preacher that gave her a potion, and possessing little Amy. When the zombies of the family are exploding, if you watch it real slowly, you can see the fake body and head they used for the effect of "David". One ... Read More

Why Mark Dacascos isn't a bigger name in movies confounds me a bit. To me, he's always had the qualities to be a star in action cinema. Guy looks good, is very fit, has an appealing screen presence, and can even act some. And he's definitely got the martial arts cred. I first saw him in ONLY THE STRONG back in 1993, and dude left an impression. This film takes us back to the days when it was still hip to hoist a ghetto blaster on your shoulder. Louis Stevens (Dacascos), a former Green Beret and fresh off a military stint in Brazil, has just returned home to the seamier side of Miami. When visiting his former school teacher, Louis can't help but note the downhill progression of his old high school. I have to admit I have never seen or heard of this movie when it first came out.....I was in my kitchen washing dishes this weekend where i get just one channel in the kitchen....And this was on...It was in the middle of the film,and I had to watch to the end... My only problem would be the portrayal of the birth mother..I am a a birthmother married to the birth father...The media, movies and tv constantly portray us in a bad light...But looking past that the feelings and emotionals where right on in this movie...I was crying so hard at the end...My daughter came in and held me...
