a tremendous entry in the delightful amicus multi-scary-story films of the 1960s and 70s . all are worth checking out (ownership of all titles is a great investment) . they just don't make them like this any more . and never will again .

I've loved this movie for years and bought this dvd to replace my old vhs version. I was surprised to find only one disc and moreso to discover that it is reversible. When it came to the end of side one I wasn't sure what to do, but tried flipping it over and sure enough, there was side two. I didn't know there was such a thing and a couple of friends I asked didn't know it either. I don't buy a lot of current dvd's, maybe this is old stuff, but it was news to me..lol..

Obviously this is an excellent epic! The DVD quality was average, the first DVD was not quite crisp in reception as you would expect in an average DVD. Perhaps this may have been due to VHS to DVD conversion. I was expecting a digitally remastered copy which this wasn't. Overall the DVD set was excellent value!

This movie has many scenes where the leading man is in and out if bed with numerous women. It also has a fair amount of swearing. These things ruin a movie for family viewing. I was expecting a clean, romantic story.

6.Cheech & Chong's The Corsican Brothers starring: Claude Aufaure, Yvan Chiffre, Rae Dawn Chong, Robbi Chong, Shelby Chong

This is an often hated movie, but I like it. I thought it was funny and creative. A non Cheech and Chong stoner movie, and lead Cheech on to do more non-stoner movies as well. A great parody of the French revolution, as told as only Cheech and Chong could. Hard to come by, no video stores around me have it.

VHS : Family Reunion
This is a terrific Miniseries made in 1981. Starring Bette Davis in one of her best roles of her long career.

In Family Reunion, the incomparable Bette Davis shines in one of her last roles of her illustrious career. Portraying a woman of conscience, she speaks of all that is noble about small town America and the value of family loyalties.

Bette Davis stars as Elizabeth Winfield, a feisty, New England school teacher, retiring after fifty years of educating children in the community which bears her name.

For her years of service, she is given an unlimited bus pass and sets out on a cross-country odyssey to heal old family feuds, not realizing she is being lured out of Winfield in a cunning plot by greedy shopping mall developers. She comes home in an attempt to stop ... Read More

Growing up my brother and I would dispute what movie to watch quite frequently. This movie was always one we could agree on. This is probably one of the best cartoons starring Mickey. Personally though, I think we just liked Donald's antics!

I didn't feel that this adaptation of Irving's story stayed true enough to the original. The character development in the beginning was weak, and the encounter with Henry Hudson's crew was really stretched (unnecessarily). I was glad I didn't pay a lot of money for this.
