I always have to debunk those negative remarks when it comes to military movies. First of all, the U.S. government is not going to allow a true movie to come about any mission. Secondly, the director got the idea from someone who was obviously involved in this situation so don't blame them, blame the person who told it. Black Hawk Down contained fallacies itself. Don't believe me? The next time you watch a "military" movie, watch it with a servicemember: They will find something wrong. ACTUAL REPRESENTATION IS NOT ALLOWED. I enjoyed this movie immensely: The actors work well together and it imparts the idea that everyone has a reason for joining the military. It is interesting and I am happy to have it as part of my movie collection.

The Jacksons: An American Dream along with The Five Heartbeats and The Tempations is one of my favorite male R&B group musical movies. The casting was excllent but the film does have some flaws.The film could have went into more detail about the fellas and it would have been great to hear Find Me A Girl,Daddy's Home and Rock With You.

Finally available on Amazon, albeit only as a used VHS (somebody Please issue a DVD!!) is Dream Trap, which just may be the sexiest movie of all time. A supernaturally-tinged romantic comedy/fantasy, "Dream Trap" is a rarity in movies in that it's almost totally devoid of villains or 'meanness'. I'm not saying every movie should be like that, certainly (I'm a huge horror movie fan myself) but it's a refreshing change and allows the sexuality, the romance and the humor of the movie to shine forth completely free. There are a couple of 'jerks' in the movie, but they're basically on a level with Reggie Mantle from Archie Comics - they're humorous, mostly harmless jerks. Floyd isn't my favourite, but this series is a definite winner. He and Jonathan do a sterling job of demystifying wine and highlighting the enjoyment which is to be had from a glass (or 5) of wine. Well worth the purchase... I just wish it was available in PAL!

I am reviewing this movie in 8/08 and was thrilled I got to see it. Colin Farrell has made many movies over his career often to mixed reviews. He seems to either be really good or not good at all. But he has that star presence and I must admit he is one of my favorites. Anyone with any doubts as to the acting chops of Colin Farrell must see this movie. His acting here shows he is among the top in his field and he is capable of anything. It is an acting tour de force. This film is important on many levels and I think it was very underrated. Anyone who bought this movie thinking it was porn, needs to go back to school and learn how to read (and probably how to put half a thought together). Hello everyone on here. I am a big movie-TV series buff. I stumbled on this movie while visting another website, and it linked me over to amazon. In some cases, these reviews I have already read from other amazon members on here are right about one thing. this is a B-movie no doubt about that. Drive-In is the story of a lonely boy who has cruel mean parents, and he's locked in his room for most of his life. The only thing outside of reality that intertains him the most is that across the street from his bedroom window is you-guessed it... he sees a DRIVE-IN THEATER...
