This is the a must have for any Christmas Movie collection. I remember watching this as a child and this past Christmas my daughter started watching it. Of course at 2 years old her attention span lasted only 20 minutes but I know that over time she will love it as well. It is very well put together and could never be replaced by any other. I just wish someone would put it out on DVD, the VHS I bought for my sister and I was used but said it was like new. However, it appeared as thought it had been played several times over and was poor quality. Spend the extra money and buy a new one! Highly recommend this video!!!

i remember this production from when I was 5 years OLD!!!!!! and i just bought it again and it brought many memories! this is an INCREDIBLE version of Sleeping Beauty!

Nice introduction to this history block. Good use of the the opposing (Islamic) sides views. Nice use of technology and side cultural notes. Disagree with some of his comments; I am not apologist for the pure mercenary members of the Crusades or methods but I see the political side of his view of history. His views are well known about the Global War on Terror from his editorials in the Guardian. He like many Muslims are still hung on the Crusades and use it as an excuse for their presnt actions.

This movie has many scenes where the leading man is in and out if bed with numerous women. It also has a fair amount of swearing. These things ruin a movie for family viewing. I was expecting a clean, romantic story.
