To Kill a Mockingbird (Collector's Edition)
Lone fathers and their kids have been a hit in many movies. I have severl examples, like, Ryan and Tatum O'Neil in Paper Moon, Jon Voight and Ricky Schroeder in the re-make of 'The Champ' and Dustin Hoffman and Justin Henry in Kramer vs Kramer. Gregory Peck, won an Academy Award, for playing a sole parent, and he's never been better. The script for this movie was based upon Harper Lee's sensitive and intelligent novel set in racially-torn Alabama. Gregory Peck, plays Atticus Finch, a wise lawyer bravely raising his two kids Jem(Phillip Alford) and Scout(Mary Badham) in the hot-headed Southern town. The crux of the plot is Finch's defence of a colored man accused of rape. The film was put together by two excellent film-makers, producer Alan J. ... Read More

VHS : Godfather Trilogy 1901-1980
This trilogy is by far the most excilerating ever. It tells the story of the rise and fall of the Corleone crime family. Although this is a fictional story, It is one of the best stories that portrays the acts of a real Mafia family. After Vito Corleone(Michael's father) dies, it is up to Michael to take up the family business. Michael finds himself turning into one of the most feared gangters of his time. Watch this action packed film with plenty of mind blowing suprises. It is an all around great trilogy staring;Al Pacino,Marlin Brando,Robert Deniro and other great actors.

VHS : Stalin (1992)
A true characterization of a truly pathetic individual. Historically, Stalin & Hitler were no more than two lost souls, losers in every way, that found a home in subjective, reactive rhetorical organizations.

Stalin used his power to turn his delusions into reality, and untold
horrors for the Russian people. This movie accurately portrays the
beast and his place in history.

VHS : The Godfather, Part II
The Godfather part 2 is HIGHLY recomended by me. It is not as good as the first, but it's still great! The only part i don't approve of is Michael ordering Al Neri to kill Fredo(HIS BROTHER!!!) Although he took sides against the family, you should always love your brother. Anyway, great highly recomended 5 star sequel!

VHS : Lonesome Dove
Quite simply, Lonesome Dove (1989) is one of the best westerns of all time. Even the minor characters are multi-dimensional and fully developed. All of the acting is top notch. The direction is superb.

But, this story is really about the relationship of two men: Captain Woodward Call (Tommy Lee Jones) and Captain Augustus McRae (Robert Duvall), retired Texas Rangers. Call, the stoic, is the polar opposite of McRae, a fun-loving "philosopher." Their poignant farewell is one of the most touching you will ever see on film. (Duvall said this was his favorite role.)

I rank this film right up there with The Searchers (1956) starring John Wayne.
