VHS : Return of the Borrowers
Wonderful sequel to The Borrowers. It's true that it doesn't stick faithfully to Mary Norton's books, but it's still close enough to make the movie interesting and delightful to watch. The actors are all fabulous especially Rebecca Callard as Arrietty and Daniel Newman as Spiller (wonder what they are doing now and what else they've done?). Highly recommended for both adults and kids; you will not be bored. The only problem is the quality of the tape really really sucks - which is really too bad. I truly hope they will come out with a DVD version soon.

VHS : Merry Widow (1952)
Just 'burned' the two versions of the Merry Widow off TCM - the earlier B&W McDonald/Chevalier film is the superior one by far; however, this updated color version w/ attractive co-stars (Turner & Lamas) is much better than I expected; the production is lavish which is typical for 'musicals' of the time - Turner is gorgeous, as usual & Lamas much better than I expected - certainly worth a watch, but try to see the other film as a comparison!

VHS : My Demon Lover
This is one movie that I watched when I was younger and still til this day remains one of my favorites though you cant find it anywhere but on a VHS and lets face it people VHS will soon be out of date just like our old record, 8 track and cassette players thats why this jem belongs on DVD. I would certainly buy this movie if it was on DVD but I'm not paying $15 or more for an used VHS. Scott Valentine and Michelle Little does a wonderful job in this hilarious comedy as well as the underrated Gina Gallego who also starred on NBC's Santa Barbara!
So my suggestion is if you ever get a chance to watch this movie on tv do it you wont regret it but yes it is worth $15 on a DVD!!! Please people put this movie to a DVD!

VHS : Only Thrill
Peter Masterson directs another tender film in the manner of his 'The Trip To Bountiful'. Based on the play by Larry Ketron (who also wrote the screenplay) THE ONLY THRILL follows the lives of four people over a period of 30 years, a time frame that wisely incorporates all the changes that happened between the 1960s and into 1996. Not only is this a strong story about relationship possibilities, it is a chronicle of the changing mores from the decade of 'Love' to the decade of dissolution: social changes here documented make a lasting impression on those of us who have lived that time frame.

Reece McHenry (Sam Shepard) owns a Used Clothing store in Austin, Texas and employs Carol Fitzsimmons (Diane Keaton) as his seamstress. Reece's wife has been in a vegetative state for years and Reece ... Read More

VHS : Cutting Class
I heard Pitt tried to buy every copy of this film because he was ashamed of this film. I didn not really find anything wrong with this movie at all. The acting was very good for a B film and it probably would have been better if they upped the gore a little. The main problem was the kills in this movie were the worst in the history of horror films. Ive seen tons and tons of horror movies and I cant recall the kills being as bad as this film. Other then the kills, it was enjoyable and worth a look. I found it a brand new copy at a discount store for two bucks, so I got my moneys worth.

If you are expecting this to be a sequal to Disney's Hercules...you will be let down tremendously, not because it's bad...but because it's not a sequal. It is not a "Full Length Movie" either. What it is is a few episodes of Disney's Hercules TV Series put onto tape. And I may say...it is FANTASTIC for what it is.
All of the episodes on this tape (The First Day of School, The YearBook, The Grim Avenger, and and the Visit from Zeus) are truly some of the best in the series. If you are a fan of the movie, or the series...this is definatley worth watching. All of the Herc-Humor is their. Plus...all of the voice actors, with the exception of Danny Davito, have all returned to voice their characters, which makes the experiance more enjoyable. This tape will satify all the Die-hard Herc fans over until Disney ... Read More

This is Bogart at his best. What a great movie. I have watched it over and over, it is that good. This movie was made before I was born, FILM NOIR, I love it. The old movies are made with such grace and style. Don't miss this movie.
