Blue Lightning VHS Blue Lightning starts off like a standard "B" Grade movie, but since it stars my favorite cowboy movie star, Sam Elliott, I kept watching. It's all about a private investigator, Elliott, hired to recover a sapphire from a treacherous double-dealing villain, played by Robert Culp of I, Spy fame (the TV show). Interesting movie. Looks like it was shot in Aussie Land. Recommended for fans of Sam Elliott. Gunner February, 2008

This movie was wonderful, and based on a true story about how the Army just wanted to slaughter all it's cavalry horses because they became "obsolete". Not slaughter for food, just slaughter. Typical Army waste, and a shame for such noble creatures. I'm proud that these Cav guys stole them and took them to Canada. If you love horses, this movie will speak to you.

Our whole family just loved this video, it is simple and sweet, with no bad language, or bad taste. We were all enraptured by the lovable young pollyanna and her innocent adventures. Even our four year old has watched the entire video over and over again. We recommend it very highly.

Although dated with a mildly cheesy script we found it enjoyable enough for even the teenage kids asking for the next disc. The transfer is grainy but not to off putting.Although the cover shows what would appear to be a head line production for Anthony Perkins he only appears much later in the film.

It is unknown if this was director Adrian Carr's first motion picture. But if it is, it is a good work from which to build a career upon. Now And Forever is based upon a 1974 novel written by Danielle Steel. The story is about a man who meets a woman other than his wife at an outside cafe. Being slightly drunk (departing from the book's premise that the male character was lonely and wanted to be in a woman's arms so desperately), Margaret Burton (portrayed by sizzlingly hot Christine Amor) offers Robert Coleby's character a ride back to her apartment to sober up. Once there, Margaret stalks her prey, and sweeps up Coleby's character in hot, passionate kissing. Yes, there's still debate over how Archer made his way to the Cup, but as a person who lives in Archer's hometown, this movie is more than a horse adventure. It's a piece of local folklore and to have such wonderful Australian actors (Brett Climo and Nicole Kidman are great) is just a wonderful journey. If you like horses or Australia, you'll enjoy this.
