1.Endless Summer starring: Robert August, Lord 'Tally Ho' Blears, Terence Bullen, Michael Hynson, Wayne Miyata

VHS : Endless Summer
It is not only a fantastic surfing movie; it is a fantastic look at the world in 1968. They couldn't say what they say in this movie today. It would NOT be PC. There is nothing offensive about this movie socially, but the left wing PC'ers of the world would not let these guys describe the world so accurately.

As far as I am concerned, this is the all time best manly movie about surfing around the world. Makes me want to walk out on my job, grab my son and surfboard and travel the world surfing!

2.Future Force starring: David Carradine, Robert Tessier, Anna Rapagna, William Zipp, Patrick Culliton
directed by: David A. Prior
March 09, 1994
Average Rating: out of 5 stars

VHS : Future Force
Not as bad as the REALLY low budget and
profane sequel, Future Zone, which, sorry
to say, sucks! Robert Tessier is great in
here (and surprisingly in Matuszak's One
Man Force as well) and the lovely Dawn
Wildsmith is a fox! She's also very good
w/ Dave in Armed Response and especially
in Warlords! Martial Law is better though.
For the price for VHS copies of this now,
it's well worth it! Pick Up On It! - R.A.S

VHS : Free Willy
Well, I can finally say I saw 'Free Willy'! Family friendly film with a simple story. It's easy to watch and it will keep the kids happy. I bought the triple feature with all 3 films for under $10.00, it's hard to go wrong for that price! The DVD set has very good transfers for all 3 films.

5.Bear Island starring: Donald Sutherland, Vanessa Redgrave, Richard Widmark, Christopher Lee, Barbara Parkins
directed by: Don Sharp

VHS : Bear Island
Bear Island is one of those movies I want to like more for all its cheesiness. Barely released theatrically, cut heavily for home video and rarely shown on TV, it marked the end of the big screen Alistair MacLean goldmine (subsequent adaptations would be straight to cable) and, pretty much, the viability of most of the cast as leading players - Donald Sutherland, Vanessa Redgrave and Richard Widmark in particular would soon be relegated to the little leagues or supporting roles. At times it's like a bad accent competition, with Richard Widmark's German and Christopher Lee's Polish faring better than Vanessa Redgrave's Norwegian ("Yuust becorzz somwun haas givan anne ohrdoor?") which at least adds a little variety to her usual flat delivery of dialog. Maybe Donald Sutherland should have tried one too ... Read More

6.Herr Ober! starring: Gerhard Polt, Christiane Hörbiger, Ulrike Kriener, Robert Meyer, Natalya Lapina
directed by: Gerhard Polt, Fred Unger

VHS : Project Eliminator
The successful shoot and location accomodations put forward by the New Mexico Film Commission for "ELIMINATOR" in 1989, were critical in building the momentum to turn that state into a viable alternative to Hollywood. Beautiful scenery throughout this film.
