This is a great DVD with the extra scenes in it bringing the book more fully to life Don't get me wrong I adored the original but this is better. I think the music is fine and not at all distracting. Highly recommended.

HOW does Rob Lowe look exACTly the same as he did 20some years ago? Check out one of the sexier BratPacker movies, and tell me you don't play "spot-the-earlier-work-of-bigger-stars..." Cute boy-meets-girl/fish-outta-water/redemptive-loner/look-how-much-we-learned,-aren't-we-noble? mash-ups. A better-than-most example of cheesetastic 80's mindcandy. Which is a GOOD thing! Watch as part of a Sixteen Candles/Ferris Bueller...Breakfast Club/Oxford Blues Double Feature Weekend and tell me you don't sink back to a lighter, easier place. 80's Rule, lol!

VHS : Austin Powers - The Spy Who Shagged Me
Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me is a great follow up to Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery . In some senses the film is better the original. Meyers is funnier this time around as Doctor Evil with his one-liners and Verne Troyer is great and steals almost all the scenes as Mini-Me as does Seth Green. A great sequel if you've never seene\ it you're in for a treat.

I was surprised to see Rob Lowe in this movie. Of course, Rob is one of the few good things in this movie that is yet another entry into the disaster genre. Unfortunately, there are so many problems with this movie's plot that the producer should have fired the technical advisor or the director that failed to listen to him.

There is this train traveling through the Rocky Mountains with a Russian nuclear missile secreted on board. In addition to the nuclear missile are all kinds of hazardous waste, including metallic sodium, which essentially explodes on contact with water. So, the train is rolling down hill for hundreds of miles into Denver with an air line on the train fails. Wait. That can not be right.

Let us check the facts. Once you get just a little way west of Denver, ... Read More

good looking, of course this was 22 years ago and Demi still looks good. But then again she should, billionaries should also look good no matter what and if they don't somethings wrong. Movie was ok, boy do I miss the 80's. More relaxed, no computers, the fun wasen't drained out of everything. Well, most of the actors went on to bigger and better movies and salaries. Its harmless, enjoy.

Upon purchasing this DVD I was disapointed to find that the region code would not allow this DVD to work in my DVD player. Yes it does mention this on Amazon in tiny little letters but I infortunately did not see this. *Regioin codes are so that production companies can regulate DVD release dates accross different countries, so this DVD WILL NOT WORK ON MOST DVD PLAYERS PURCHASED IN THE US* I was able to eventually get this DVD to play on my computer however it is set on Portugese as its default language so you have to go through the hastle of switching it to English. THEN....wait theres more... the DVD was supposed to be "new" as it was advertised as such on Amazon. I cannot believe the DVD was new because it had scratches on it that caused the movie to skip in some areas and when I got it in the mail it was not ... Read More

VHS : Class
Looking at "Class" again more than 20 years after I first saw it, I found it a better movie than I remembered. I could only recall a mediocre teen dramedy starring two Brat Packers, but this script is as smart and funny as it is flawed. Jonathan (Andrew McCarthy) is a working class young man who attends a posh prep school his senior year in hopes of getting into Harvard. His introduction to Vernon Academy is a humiliating prank played by his rich roommate Skip (Rob Lowe), but after a few bumps, they become fast friends. Determined to help Jonathan out with the ladies, Skip packs him off to a pick-up bar in Chicago one weekend. In spite of his clumsiness -or because of it- Jonathan meets an exciting older woman named Ellen (Jacqueline Bisset), and they begin an affair. But Ellen eventually discovers Jonathan's age. And ...
