I recently ordered the DVD Little Shop of Horrors. It is one of my favorite movies and I only had it on VHS. I was glad to find it on DVD. I am pleased with the quality of the product and I'm also pleased with the shipper.

This has always been a favorite movie of mine, though I can't point to a particular reason why. It's a star-studded "sleeper" film, a quiet film, filled with hilarious comedy and family dysfunction. Frank Buckman (the fantastic Jason Robards) and Marilyn Buckman (Eileen Ryan, mother to Sean and Chris Penn) are the patriarch and matriarch of the Buckman clan. They have four adult children; Gil Buckman (Steve Martin), Helen Buckman-Lampkin (amazing Diane Wiest), Susan Buckman-Huffner (Harley Jane Kozak) and youngest Larry Buckman (Tom Hulce). this film was more creppy than the original in so many elements: the slime was growing when people were pssed off. the scoleri brothers were scarier than slimer the song monologue when the ghostbusters were in the nuthouse Vigo the painting shows up more than Gozer in part one. Though there are punchlines that people might repeat such as the "sometimes s*t happens", it could've work better as a comedy like the original. Anyway, this is the only sequel i watch during my senior year because there were somethings that made me freaked out. I have the entire soundtrack and I get crazed on the sequel whenever I'm scared or in a jolly mode. This if the first movie you should see on Halloween then the original and so forth.

I remember watching this movie when I was a kid, and loving every second of it! And, what do you know? I still do to this day! Very creative story, great characters, all around good clean fun for everyone!

I didn't know about this movie till about 2001-2002 when it came out on DVD, but when I first saw it I fell in love. I've seen it about 10 times already, and still laugh every time. Mel Brooks is a genuous! I love the audio commentary on the DVD, and the video screen menu. The acting and sound quality was great for a 1980's movie. Overall awesome Parody Movie, not like any of the ones you see today, like Epic Movies and stuff like that. (This Parody is a WHOLE lot better then those). Haven't seen it? You need to. :)

This a wonderful video which elementary school kids and adults can enjoy watching together. The animation style is very interesting and unique-- the series has a distinctive "look" which is appealing to kids. It's interesting to read here that a lot of parents are having their babies and toddlers watch lengthy videos, and then are surprised when the little ones find these images scary or overwhelming. Parents need to use common sense. There is also a great Miss Spider television series now out on DVD. Episodes are always based around caring about others, understanding their feelings, and being considerate. The characters are not perfect-- they make mistakes, etc. But in the end they learn important lessons about love, family, friendship, and how we should treat others.
