This was a solid movie. Too much garbage comes out today that is "critically acclaimed." With $16 million they did a nice job with the sets, filming of action sequences, and special effects to make this movie far more than watchable. A little chessey but very entertaining. There are solid moral lessons that are taught here that the youth of today need to see, understand, and embrace. Shaq's acting, contrary to popular opinion, is pretty good. Very easy to root for STEEL. A man's man. Kids, especially black kids, need to see strong black men take control of thier lives and make a positive and lasting impact on their families and their communities. Most of the people who reviewed this movie here on Amazon.com proabably just don't care about that. Buy it or rent it. It's nice to own ... Read More

This is waaay before the age of personal trainers. Not only is their a small amount of bare skin, but the bare skin they show ain't worth seein'. This stuff got better in the 80s, when there was ample supply of attractive, and less inhibited women.

If Amazon is going to provide actor information about movies, they need to get it straight. Who are the actors they listed anyway? The real main actors were Dyan Cannon, Kris Kristofferson and Tony Curtis. At least they could get a copy of the DVD and read the credits. Not as good as the original, but I don't look at it like a remake, but a movie on it's own merit. I don't really like remakes.

I hadn't seen this movie in more than 20 years. It was one of my favorites back then. I'm so glad I got it through Amazon. Unfortunately, they only had it on VHS. But I don't mind, this is one of the best movies on nazi war affairs. A rare combination of funny stuff with more serious war related matters. It kind of reminds me of MASH, but much better. Telly Savalas and Roger Moore are great. It definitely brought back good memories from my youth.

I remember when this movie was first released. It looked interesting and exciting to me and so I saw it in the theater, and I enjoyed it. It's not a great movie; the plot is farfetched and one dimensional and the acting is flawed, but the film is entertaining none-the-less. This is the definition of popcorn fluff; simple yet exciting and serviceable.

`Antitrust' tells the story of computer genius Milo Hoffman who plans to open an open-source site for the public with his friends, especially fellow genius Teddy Chin. His plans are turned upside down when Gary Winston, president of NURV, offers him a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity; to single-handedly help him launch his open-source program. Milo takes Gary up on his offer and soon has joined the NURV team and is working hard for the `enemy'. Soon, obviously, ... Read More

Honestly, the only reason I rented this movie was to see Vanna White, and maybe in the buff. I wasn't disappointed. The love scenes are tender and brief, but you do get a glimpse of Vanna's great assets. She is a beautiful woman. She's not a bad actress either. She should have done more pictures.
I can't tell if this is pre-Wheel of Fortune, but the movie certainly looks and sounds dated, early '80s. It reminded me of Bobby Jo and the Outlaw, the only flick I know that Lynda Carter fully revealed the bosom that was jiggling most wonderfully in Wonder Woman.
That aside, it is a nice story. No Oscar winner, but you care about what happens to the characters. The guy who plays the stunt pilot doubles up as singer on some of the songs on the soundtrack.

10.George of the Jungle starring: Brendan Fraser, Leslie Mann, Thomas Haden Church, John Cleese, Richard Roundtree

VHS : George of the Jungle
Good-natured, family-oriented comedy about a clumsy ape man who lives in the jungle amongst the animals and never seems able to stop crashing into trees. During a safari, he encounters a beautiful damsel in distress (Mann) and immediately falls in love with her. Despite their differences in lifestyles, he leaves his beloved jungle and travels to the big city where he tries to win her affections and adapt to civilization. It more ways than one this inherently goofy, episodic film resembles an extended television series with zany characters and a predictable setup, but it's smart, funny, and the gags are right on target. Fraser, never more likable, is perfectly cast, aided by a sly narrator and an over-the-top Cleese who really scores as the voice of ape.
