VHS : Past the Bleachers
I thought the movie was very good and touching. Richard Dean Anderson did a wonderful job, as always. The only problem I found with the story was that it didn't get detailed enough. The character had a couple of major events happening in his life and they just skimmed over them. The movie ends and you never find out how the big events turned out. Good story, good acting, and worth watching, it just has a couple of holes.

I have waited years to see this movie again. Of course, it's not as creepy as I remembered it but I still enjoyed it. A must addition to my sci fi collection.

VHS : Ordinary Heroes
This movie is one of my favorites. And that's not only because it has Richard Dean Anderson, from MacGyver-fame, starring in it. The story in itself is a great story of a man, who is send to war and who has to cope with the personal aftermath. He has to learn to love himself again before he can let anyone else love him. It has some great acting in it too: very believable.

VHS : Through the Eyes of a Killer
My husband got this movie on dvd for me one Christmas. I couldn't believe Richard Dean Anderson was able to play a very convincing crazy killer. Very good movie except at the end just after the murder attempt. I felt the movie should have continued with the search for Ray and more. I liked the decor colors used in the new kitchen. I thought Marg was very good too. I still watch her on CSI.

Kickboxer figures as one of the most exciting and legendary martial films of a very young by then Van Damme.

His elder brother travel to Thailand for defending the title, being the Western champion in this category. But what both ignore is what the will find in that arena. His brother will have to face a sadistic and ruthless fighter who will play dirty, leaving him crippled.

This dramatic fact will make Van Damme encourages and trains with all the rigorousness and maxim discipline with a curious old master, an exotic and sympathetic shaman who will prepare him with wise lessons of life too.

The arresting landscapes of Thailand conform an additional frame of reference, although the predictability of the script. Because the fact twenty years have elapsed it's ... Read More

VHS : Marked for Death
"Marked For Death" is a lot of fun. This is what drives the movie: fun. Many of Steven Seagal's other films are fun, but are driven by a different agenda: "Above the Law" was politically conscious, "On Deadly Ground" focused on environmental issues, and even "Under Siege" was a morality play, to some extent. The largely unremembered "Marked For Death", however, has no pretenses, simply the simple equation of "Seagal + Jamaican posses × guns, cars, and swords = fun fun fun". I mean, what else do you call a film with psychotic, sword-wielding cultists, enough ammo to carpet a gymnasium, cool martial arts, and Seagal in tip-top shape? - besides a personal favorite, that is

John Hatcher (Seagal) is a DEA agent who's become jaded of his work. After witnessing the death of his partner in Colombia, he resigns from the ... Read More
