The other reviews of this movie are way too kind. There is very little "steam" in this movie. Not a bad plot, but let's be honest, that's not why we watch these direct to video / cinemax softcore movies. Joan Severance does look good as usual. However, the erotica scenes are few and far between and there is virtually nothing more revealing in the unrated version so don't spend your $ here. Joan looks at her best putting on shiny white thigh highs underneath a tight yellow dress, but nothing happens with her and this luscious outfit. A complete waste. This is bound to disappoint so don't be misled by the other reviews.

I saw the movie on TV, I ordered it for my collection. I think it was in June. I have never recieved it. I'm still waiting. I loved it. it is one of MS. Steels best made for tv movies.

Starship Troopers, the book, was a great story by Robert Heinlein. Here's what I wrote in my review of it: "This Robert Heinlein novel about a future Army Mobile Infantry recruit going through boot camp and into space battles is not so much about blasting multi-armed "bugs" into oblivion, but rather about the philosophical and ethical debates regarding military indoctrination and earning the right to call yourself a citizen. ...I had watched the Starship Troopers movie (liked it) and Starship Troopers II (on the top 50 list of worse movies ever). This movie was amazing in all aspects. I thought the plot was amazing and original, and the actors were GREAT!!! I loved them so much and was actually interested in them. This is a great party movie, so invite all your friends, order seven pizza pies, ten two-liter bottles of soda and a bunch of candy and stick this into the DVD player and have a good time. I know I did!
